Galaxy Nexus Watering Hole

Everytime I go to the barber he needs to shave my neck. I've decided that I don't have a receding hairline, but a retreating one. I figure by the time I am eighty I'll be completely bald but will have a very nice patch of hair in the center of my back.

Bah, my wife keeps telling me I have growing back hair. I deny it every time! :p

The flip side of the equation is judging.

When you're single everyone judges you on how you look.

Now that I'm married, I still get judged, but it's my wife who gets blamed if I look bad. :)

"She let him go out of the house looking like that!?"

Good tip. If I were to get married (again) I guess I should remember these things. :)

Hey all you married folk out there, it is still important that we take care of ourselves and keep the fire burning for our spouses. Looking sexy and desirable for the ones we love is one of the greatest gifts we can give each other.

Oh fully agree. Can't let ourselves completely let go!
Always important to let eachother know how beautiful they are regardless of dress/appearance. But, it's equally important to appreciate that inner beauty that caused you to fall in love in the first place :)

I have done this numerous times with numerous items. I think it's perfectly normal. Either that or I'm a ditz too!;)
Stop denying it and just be part of the Ditz club :
I have to do a BabyBlues and fess up. Never seen the movie.
you must watch it! it's an amazing/sad story and the acting is great!

Tell me about it. The wife simply refuses to get a haircut. I have her hair all over my clothes and I'm tired of it. :p
I just shave my head once a month and call it a day.
that's the only bad thing with long hair. you shed worst than a dog :/

Your hair is longer than your waist? Wooooow!!!!
yes :) you don't noyice it from the pictures pappi? lol

My appearance still matters, but now I only have to worry about how one person perceives my appearance. :)

I much prefer short hair. Especially since I have to wear a hat. But she likes my curls so I'm growing it out for her.
do you wear your pilot hat when you are in the flying? do you fly national or international?
Yeah I have thick unruly hair. My bed head is so bad, if I don't take a shower and wash my hair to reset it, you can forget about a good hair day.
i take it your sons and daughter take after their mother with the sleek straight hair?

I can't imagine that you would leave the house not presentable. Especially if your wife gets the blame if you dress bad :p

My first wife was very vain, and not in the good way. We should want to look good for ourselves, not for what others think of us. My current wife dotes over herself the same way my first wife did but she does it because she wants to look a certain way, not because she thinks someone else thinks she should look a certain way, big difference.

Ah, but find the right spouse and sexy and desirable becomes far more complicated than looking sexy, having tried once and failing, and once succeeding, I can personally say that physical beauty is limited. My wife is beautiful in appearance alone, but it is the rest of her, mothering, understanding, and everything else that makes her the most beautiful person in the world to me.

See above. Couldn't agree more.

Actually my daughter has my hair. If you comb it and blow dry its straight, but otherwise it gets hopelessly tangled.

So I agree about looking good for your spouse, it is one of my motives for getting in shape. Along with being able to play longer and harder with my kids, and to feel good about myself.

I know. I've heard nothing but great things about it. I'll see if I can download it via iTunes so I can watch next time I'm on the road.

I do wear a hat, but not while I'm actually "flying." They only do that in the movies. I fly international - currently I primarily fly to Asia with a smattering of Europe and Africa.

You're right. I'm busted. I do care how I look.

HUGE difference.

I couldn't agree more. And the reverse is also true...the most physically beautiful person can become extremely unattractive when they have an ugly personality.

My wife likes to play with my hair and is torn when I get a haircut. She thinks my hair looks better short, but has nothing to play with then, lol. So my solution is cut it short and let it grow for a while trimming up the rough edges and then repeat. That way she gets a few weeks of short and a few weeks of it being long enough to play with.

Yeah I have thick unruly hair. My bed head is so bad, if I don't take a shower and wash my hair to reset it, you can forget about a good hair day.

Dude, same here, I feel your pain. Daily washes are completely necessary and then again if I take a nap or even wear a hat and have to go somewhere later.

Everytime I go to the barber he needs to shave my neck. I've decided that I don't have a receding hairline, but a retreating one. I figure by the time I am eighty I'll be completely bald but will have a very nice patch of hair in the center of my back.

LOL!!! I'm getting there dude...it sucks. I don't think my hairline will recede much more (it's not very noticable now unless I get a buzz cut, which I don't) but that neck/back area keeps sprouting new buds, lol. I get my wife to wax it every now and then.

Truth! See above where I let the wife wax my back, lol.

Looks good, but I'll put this place's burgers up against anywhere in the world! Mugshots

This is their challenge burger. Eat it in 12 minutes along with the onion ring, fries, and pickle chip and it's on the house. If not, $20. Not bad either way. Each patty is a half-pounder and the buns are extremely fresh sourdough bread. Best burger I've ever had. Then there's the beer battered fries, fried pickle chips, rotel with home-made tortilla chips, etc etc etc

That. Looks. Awesome.

Have a question for you (and Stigy), what software are you using for app creation? I picked up an Android App Development for Dummies book but haven't done much with it. Java isn't something I know much about so that's the big stepping stone.

I use Eclipse IDE. It's a pretty good program. If you just go to the android developer site and follow the tutorials you can get the sdk and Eclipse set up in a couple of hours.
