Recently, I've been playing around with my overclock speed and voltage settings using IncrediControl on CM7. I've found that even running high overclock speeds can have pretty decent battery life so long as you keep the voltage as low as possible with your speeds. Here are my settings:
61mhz - 600 (lowest for this CM7 kernel)
122mhz - 750
245mhz - 750
576mhz - 850
768mhz - 850
1024mhz - 975
1113mhz - 1000
1209mhz - 1050
1305mhz - 1125
1401mhz - 1200
1516mhz - 1225
1612mhz - 1275
My settings are InteractiveX/SIO min 61mhz - 1612mhz and I get pretty good battery life. Although I do have a 2000 mAh battery.. I'll see how long my battery can last completely once I do a complete test. Just sharing my findings so far :captain:
By the way, is it harmful to test out clock speeds at lower than usual voltage? I found if I go lower voltage than it is able, it reboots automatically. Is this harmful for the CPU? How bout testing the voltage for higher clock speeds?
