Anyone else fear that your Power/End button is/will become too depressed?

I've had my Eris for 2 months now and my End/Power button is becoming depressed, i.e., flush in height with the phone. I wonder if anyone else has had this become an actual issue, or if it happens to anyone else at all?

Funny you mention this. This was actually something i was concerned about ever since i got the phone, after i realized i would have to push that button every time i wanted to use my phone.

My button is fine, but now that you mention yours has become recessed makes me wonder if it would be covered under warranty.

Does anyone know if there is a setting or some kind of app that allowed the talk button to allow the phone to come out of sleep as well. I couldn't find anything.

I realize this is "old news" to people who spend all day and night on the forum here... but for what it's worth, I worried about this very thing since day one.

"Man, I seem to be having to press this one button an AWFUL lot..."

Just wondering if blasting some compressed air might help? Do you think you have some debris build up on the sides of the button?

I give it plenty of positive re-enforcement and love, so I hope it doesn't get too depressed :(

you and your touchy feely garbage couldnt cheer up a bipolar clown. the button doesn't wanna be reinforced and loved, he wants a friend. a buddy who'll go shooting with him. a dude that'll match him shot for shot, and be his wingman when he goes to try to pick up some chick thats WAY out of his league.

You don't feel that "a buddy who'll go shooting with him. a dude that'll match him shot for shot, and be his wingman when he goes to try to pick up some chick thats WAY out of his league" is love?

Hey, that's love, dude. ;)

Not "touchy feeling" love, I'll grant you that. But it's love.

I don't think it will be a problem think about all the people who send a couple thousand texts a day , how many times are they pressing physical buttongs on there phone? I'm guessing a lot more then the few dozen times I hit the End buttong on my phone in a day

You got it. The physical buttons on the Eris don't get used nearly as much as buttons on non-touchscreen phones.
