I have been combining elements of different themes and am curious what others have. If you can post a screen shot, please do and tell us where the components came from.
For example, I am working with the Pete Smoked Glass patch, I am probably going to get the AdamZ blue power widget, I have the blue Droid Live Wallpaper, and I am not sure if I will change the VoiceKeyboard and Phone or not.

What are your successes?
This should be fun.

I was doing lots of mixing and matching when using a 2.01 based rom (even edited a bunch of the PNG files). 2.1 roms seem more finicky so for now I am just going with the Blue ESE53 theme that to me looks great out of the box (installed as an update.zip and handles changing the clock color).

I'm using a mixture of gl0be's desire theme and Pete's stock BB .07 theme right now. I'm sure it'll change soon though haha

I am using Adamz Glass Theme atop tdawg's I.C.E. theme. I have also added the blue Droid battery icon I modified, and changed the notification bar to completely transparent. On top of this, I am using the Areo theme for DxTop, along with the Aero icon pack:D

Oh, almost forgot..I have changed my clock color and system font with Skaggz files.
How did you get the transparent notification bar? I have been looking for it all over the forums.

I created it myself by pulling the .png from framework-res.apk, loading it into Pant Shop Pro, using the "eraser" tool to wipe out all of the color, then placing it back into framework-res.apk, and of course loading it back to the phone:)

IF I can find the time, I may make a Metamorph file to easily change to a transparent notification bar. Fair warning though..wallpaper/apps can blank out your notifications/ icons inside the bar if the colors match. There is also a thin dark line that forms the bottom border of the bar that does not go away. It is definitely neat though as it changes color with your apps/wallpapers:D

OK everyone stop quoting the pic, post new ones. :)

DL Metamorph from the Market
Install
Go to MM sticky in this subforum and DL a theme .zip to your computer
Unzip all to a file folder (name it what you like)
Plug phone into computer
Mount SD and access with your computer
There should be a folder named "Android Themes" in your SD card root
Drag the unzipped theme's folder and drop in "Android Themes" folder
Unmount and unplug phone
Open Metamorph with your Droid
Open "Existing Theme"
The "Android Theme" folder contents will be displayed
Open the theme folder you just copied (theme of choice)
You will see lots of files - the ONE file that has the MetaMorph (green M) icon is what you need
Click on it
Then the main MM screen will display a bunch of individual themes (phone, keyboard, etc...)
Below is an Apply button
EITHER: Select individual theme sets by clicking them and Applying (this is individually)
OR Apply All (the Whole theme)

It may prompt for a reboot - reboot
ENJOY!

I have had random reboots during the install with no results. Just run MM again to apply all and it should work.
If you don't see things as I described, start over (unzip sometimes funked up with me)

IMPORTANT - Nandroid BU the STOCK theme and your STABLE setup first.

That would be awesome if you could make it a MM file! Thanks in advance.:)

Does anybody know if DarkDroid 24k Gold theme works on 2.1??

It does, I am using it with the new Simply Stunning rom.

Dark SE 10k/24k for 2.1 ROMS (Weather Widget - 3.10.10))

It is only an update.zip load now, if you want just the 10k theme that is the metamorph theme now.

Also, the live wallpaper he links is awesome and it works with Home++ now (which is included with the theme). Though it felt a little clunky to me and my widgets weren't working when I had JIT enabled, so I removed Home++ and everything works well on the stock home screen.

This did not work for me. When I selected the theme, it just shows two folders (METAA-INF and system).

Some did the same to me, especially if you are on 2.1.
It either didn't unzip properly, or the ROM/phone didn't add all the files somehow.

Try others and look in the folder before you transfer it and once you unzip it.
There should be many folders with names like phone, etc.
