Help Samsung Google Nexus S gone slow

My samsung nexus recently got updated to icream 4.0.4, since than its performance has been very slow, it takes a lot of time to start any application (around 3 secs) and phone also gets hanged very frequently.
Please can anyone hep me?
My Nexus S updated to ICS without any problems - it actually seems to run a bit faster after the upgrade.
In your case I'd recommend to try doing a factory-reset. Backup any data you can. Some applications have this function, some don't really need that as they get data from a server (all Google apps for example).
Then open Settings - Backup & reset, and select Factory data reset. After that your phone memory will be clean like new. Setup you account and start reinstalling your regular apps one by one monitoring the phone's behavior. There might be some application misbehaving and causing the slow-down.
Good luck!

My Samsung Google Nexus S is fast now after the following Technique.

In settings menu, go to developer options, go to Background Process limit, There you will see that Android by default is set to the standard limit. You can now change the settings to the number of apps you want running in the background on your device to 2.
Generally, it's better to have 2-3 applications running in the background for balance.

Try it!
