I don't think that's necessary, it doesn't sound like op is rooted....just a guy asking what to do with his android phone........there's probably lots you can do with a non-rooted phone, I never have time to even look at what there is for non-rooted phones...

Sorry for not being clearer. I meant that if a discussion on how to download and install a CM-7 ROM continued it would need to be done in the All Things Root sub-forum.

Ok there are multiple things OP can do
1) He can theme his phone with apps from Google Play, or find whatever else he is interested in (you'll get better results if you tell us an idea of what you want to do)
2) He can root and leave the Stock ROM (the operating system that came with the phone) and overclock, tether, etc.
3) He can root and install custom recovery, roms and do what I said in "2)"

Andy, I do think this thread belongs here, but if OP wants to root then he should go check out the all things root sub-forums.
