No you do not flash Gapps, those days are done with the new phones and Roms now a day, those are for AOSP Roms, you will have to download them and they will always be in your google account so if you decide to go too another ROM Google will download them again for you

Yea but I'm asking if we can flash it or have to flash it when flashing this ROM bc I don't want to redownload the apps everytime the ROM updates. So in lamins terms
Do we flash gapps or should they be installed already?

Ok, so after about a day of use, here's what I see (You said beta, so I'm giving feedback!). Most of what I played with worked as advertised. However, I noticed a few things:

You say CRT Animations are included. They are not. I don't care if they are or not, but they are checked in tweaks for Animation on and animation off.

I'm assuming you plan on skinning Leedroid tweaks to be Nocturnal Tweaks. It just isn't yet and I was looking for a separate Nocturnal Tweaks, but found none.

While you greatly improved the readability of the 4EXT skin, there is still one problem with it:

After this page, once you click one of the buttons, the text becomes visible and it is fine to navigate. IMO, I would still prefer the stock theme experience, though.

In your patch notes, you said you still have to tweak the UI? I'm assuming that means changing all of the gingerbread green to blue? Also, could you not use such a deep blue? A lot of your UI is dark, the dark blue isn't a good contrast to the buttons, much like my previous feedback on the 4EXT skin. Sometimes it's hard to see if I checked it or not. I guess this is more opinion than anything, but I figure you want some feedback :)

As a suggestion, perhaps you could use SuperSU instead of ChansDD's Superuser. There are features that SuperSU have that are nice.

And I have a personal gripe against the Aroma installer. I don't like it. I'll explain why, if so desired. But if enough root enthusiasts like it, I'll just have to figure out a way to delete it from the packages I want to flash.

Thanks for the feedback,

Nocturnal Tweaks are gone for now. I forgot to update the OP

I will fix the recovery theme or just remove it, not sure yet

Aroma is there so people have a choice on what apps they want to install rather then install a lot of bloat wear then have to remove it every time they update the rom, as well as metroPCS options since i have a lot of metro users.

The rom UI is clean, There isnt a lot of blue in it and that is left over from the older Xplod XE 2.80 base. Most of this rom will be grayed out.

CRT is in the rom, its turned off in the build.prop for now since a hand full of people report lag with it.

Right now i want to get everything 100% working besides CRT and then work on the rest of the UI. but its almost finished. I have come a long way with this build and so far its looking a lot better then r300.

I will add SuperSU on the next build

I forgot to say this, and am kind of ashamed that I didn't, but thanks for developing this ROM. It's hard work, I can imagine. I'm not trying to put it down or anything. I'm just trying to be a good beta tester :)

About CRT - Totally understand that. I was just reading the feature list and trying to see if it worked. Speaking of, the feature list has a few repeats (Titanium is in there twice, so is the note about using the Evo 4G EPST).

UI - The color of the checkmarks are a lesser issue. And I understand that you're more worried about function than form at this point. When you get to the UI part and want feedback, I'll be happy to give some for you. I apologize for derailing that from function to form.

Aroma installer - I got used to 4EXT Recovery Control completely automating my flashing experience. Aroma puts an end to that. That's my gripe in a nutshell. But I can certainly understand you wanting to support your Metro PCS users with one install file. Cuts down on confusion. And I'm sure you heard that Boost Mobile is going to be picking up the Evo 3D after a slight rebranding, and that would make it work for them, too.

Also, one thing I noticed after flashing AnthraX is that my phone got really laggy. Even after OC'ing to 1.51 GHz. Is that something you also experience? On the stock HTC kernel, the ROM is speedy. I'm just wondering if I have more download issues or is it something other people experience.
