Rooting Hero

Hi there, I am considering rooting my Hero (with the help of a friend who knows what he is doing) however, I am not very technologically inclined. Should I be rooting if I will be learning all of this as I go?

You can root it yourself using the fresh pre-kitchen 0.2 kit ..

all it takes it's one click..

While using the Kitchen works for some, for other it doesn't.

Please please please read through it all before you do anything. Also try using the search in the thread to get answers to your questions that may have already been answered.

Feel free to post in that thread if you are experiencing problems, but again, please read it through at least 1-2 times.

Dude, if you follow the tutorial, and keep reading the through the forums like I have been doing, your phone will reflect your taste and will be lightning fast...you can find all of your answers in these forums...i also rooted and found stuff on the go like you might be doing, and it has worked out wonderfully...and do not forget to conduct nandroid backups before you change anything just in case you don't like it or doesn't work right...

Read the tutorial all the way through. Make sure you've got everything downloaded that you'll need. Then follow the tutorial step by step and you should be fine.
