Hello I am new here and in need of help for my Verizon Galaxy Nexus.

I unlocked and rooted my phone last night successfully. So I was in search of ICS 4.0.4 since Verizon is slow and like an idiot forgot to run a backup assistant on the phone and when I wiped the phone the stock ROM was gone.

Now the phone is stuck in a boot loop, I can access the Fast Boot mode, but I cannot boot anything since there is no ROM or anything on the internal hard drive. I was up til 3 a.m. last night trying the toolkit and another program to try to push a rom onto the phone via PC but I couldn't get it to work.

If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated!!! I use my phone for everything

Hello Phenom welcome to AF. Congrats on post #1 of many hopefully.

Check this link out to fix your issues. This will basically get you back to stock and then you can start over. At which point if you have any questions just ask

Also if you don't mind i'm going to move this thread to the VZW All Things Root sub forum.
Thanks for understanding :)

*note to other guides i pm'ed the OP with the link to where his thread was moved.

Thank you for the response.

Where it says
2- Unzip the file and its contents into your SDK/Tools folder (wherever your adb.exe and fastboot.exe files are).
(*make sure you unzip, either with winrar, or 7zip the file that is inside the initial zip)

I'm assuming this means c:/ Galaxy Nexus Toolkit ???

If so, when I open command prompt and enter the first "adb reboot bootloader"
i get an 'adb' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.

no it's actually referring to if you have adb already set up on your machine. If you do not check this post out.

you'll notice it mentions "sdk-tools" in there which is what the first link is referring to.

I tried installing the adb in the thread and i installed Java SE Development Kit 7u4 but when I go to install the adb it doesn't recognize that Java is installed..

This probem keeps snowballing for me :(

edit: fixed. The 64bit download doesn't work, tried the 32bit and it worked

lol we're totally doing this backwards. It's mainly my fault though for assuming you had adb set up from the beginning so I apologize for that. Check this post out. Pay attention to the drivers used for your phone. The ones you have on there now may be incorrect.

a lot of people have more success with the pda-net drivers.

Ok so I tried PDA net and it installed, but when I connect my phone to the pc PDA pops up and says HTC Sync error.

Why would it assume I had an HTC?

How did you wipe the stock rom off the phone? Do you have clockworkmod recovery installed from your root endeavors? It sounds like you MAY have tried to flash an ICS rom. Maybe I'm reading it wrong though.

TBH i don't even remember, it happened late last night. At this point when i go into recovery there aren't any files, at all. :vollkommenauf:

So I tried using WUGs kit and I start it up and it hit drivers and it says make sure device is unplugged first. Then freezes. And my device wasn't even plugged in...
