Set to Stay Awake, Maxx Still Sleeps in Dock

I am stumped as to why the screen will not stay on when in the Motorola HD Dock. I have set the settings (Applications>Development>Stay Awake) and when it is "just charging" the screen doesn't timeout (as advertised)..

When its in the dock though it DOES timeout even in "Stay Awake when Charging." ... Anyone understand why?

I think I answered my own question...strangely enough, plugging the dock from its micro USB to USB to the computer doesnt put the phone in official "charge" mode and so the timeout happens. However, off the dock it does....weird. Once I got the dock going from microUSB to wall, the screen stayed on.

You can set it to do whatever you want with smartactions. I have car dock set to go bright, HD dock to go dim, etc.
