Root My Metro PCS Samsung Admire is stuck on Samsung Screen

This is for my Metro PCS Samsung Admire:
Let me start by saying I am NOT a developer my any means, so please bare the stupid questions.

The Short of It: Rooted my phone, installed titanium backup pro, created filter for "bloat melt", activated "bloat melt" titanium requested Reboot.

On the reboot my phone would get stuck at the samsung screen. After Several tries i am able to get my phone to boot in recovery mode, however I cant seem to get into download mode. (I am assuming they are different) I have tried the factory reset-No good, I have tried the update. Zip-Cant find.

I am seen some instructions, but I am running a mac. PLEASE HELP!!!!

Use odin to flash back to stock... to go into download mode : hold camera button down and connect usb.( you have to enable usb debbuging mode)

Having a bit of an issue as Odin is an exe file and I am running a mac, is here anything special I need to do?
