Is there a G-Note that's not LTE compatible?

I'm not located Stateside and I got an unlocked GNote GT-N7000 (international version) 2 weeks ago, thinking that all GNotes have LTE capability. I just noticed that on this forum's phone menu, there are links for GNote and GNote LTE.

If there's a non-LTE model, how do I know which one I got? In my area, LTE is not yet available so I still use my normal 3G SIM. reason I got the GNote was that I wanted to be ready for the forthcoming LTE.

Thanks.

The international one does NOT have LTE or LTE capabilities as the Quad Core processor does not support LTE.

The NA (US and Canada) versions DO support LTE as the Dual Core processor does support it (that is why the LTE versions have the dual and not the quad).

If your Note has the Hardware Home button on the bottom, it's the International NON-LTE version.

Fastest way I know to tell. :)

Damn it! I also read somewhere that the international version does not support LTE. So that's what the specs meant by "Region Specific"

Check Craig's List. There are plenty of people (at least here in Seattle) that would be willing to trade for the international version. Some people are not really into LTE, but versatility because of the need to travel overseas.

Never hurts to look/ask.

Close, but the international version is not quad core, it is dual core. It is using the exynos processor and that it doesn't support LTE.
