Ok, so after using several different 2.0 roms from alot of people, I complained alot to Choc about how, IMO, they are a let down. So, Choc decided to go back to this 1.5 rom and improve the style a little bit.

All I can say is, awesome. Battery life is unparalleled to ANY rom I have used, even his own v2. So if anyone else is like me, and is upset with the 2.1 roms out, install his v3.

I had a force close on the music player, worse I was on my way to the gym, so I was wiping and nandroiding on the way to the gym to get back to yours, so I could use my bluetooth headset!
The music widget worked, but the player did not.
I was just curoius if anyone has had any issues with it! I wiped about 5 times before going to choc's!

Confused, did you get all these force closes on who's? Not Choc's right? His is solid, but I have not had any issues at all.

I am running the damage Rom now with no problems, but I did notice on choc's it seems he has removed the stock player! I can play through the widget but not the regular player!

Are you using the version with 2.1 icons? I just checked mine and it looks like it removed it when I added the updated icon apk files. The same thing happened with the calendar widget.

Only things I miss are my clear widgets and my full page calender I can't find one anywhere.

I don't want the first one lol. The main reason I wanted his over Damage Control is I want the launcher and the icons. I don't know enough to go through and add these items on my own. I just flashed back to Fresh 1.1 because I needed my calender. Hoping he finds a fix because I love this ROM.

Ah, ok that makes sense now. you should run his 1.5 version 2, update 1? It has the icons you like and its faster than fresh.

Sorry guys...this weekend was a tad bit crazy...I'm hoping to work on this tonight. If not...the 1.5 rom with these icons runs great. Probably the best battery I have experienced from any ROM!

Really even better battery life than the DamageControl? I will def check that out because I like the look but fresh does kill my battery. Thanks for the hard work and the quick response.


EDIT: dang it, I almost downloaded the 1.5 version but I have telenav and sprint nav on mine trying to figure which one i want to keep...can I add them to your version easily?

Yeah, get the version 2 update 2, has telenav and you can just add Sprint if you so wish.

Battery life is amazing with his versions.

Yeah, battery life has been far better than the damage control ROM. Yes, i can upload the apk's.

just curious, when I wipe to install which wipe option do i want to go with?

I have:
-wipe data/factory reset
-wipe dalvik-cache
-wipe sd:ext partition

I'm assuming the data/factory is the option but wanting to make sure, don't want to lose the info on my card.

Choc...flashed again and still getting the force close on the wireless tether app...which one of those am I supposed to DL and how to I install it from my phone? the prekitchen or a program like appinstaller?
