[Verizon] Color multipliers and gamma tuning

So I dirty flashed liquid1.35 two days ago. All was well. The only thing odd that I noticed was The color multipliers and gamma settings were off from what "stock" was on liquid 1.25. I assumed it was a kernel thing and shrugged it off because the screen looked fine and nothing I adjusted seemed to have an affect. I haven't read much on Franko's kernel, so I assumed that it doesn't include these controls. Anyway, I flashed lean kernel today and when I booted back up, everything looked washed out, with a strange pink hue. The only way I have "fixed" this without restoring my backup is by maxing the color multipliers and dropping the color gamma to zero. I can live with it this way until the next liquid comes out, then I'll wipe everything for a clean install and hopefully a fix, but I wondering if anyone had any idea what's going on.

This is kind of a pet peeve of mine - that kernel devs set their own defaults. I'm of the opinion the default should match the stock out-of-the-box values. But I digress...

It sounds like the problem is a combination of the ROM and the kernel. I know some folks had issues when the color multipliers and gamma offsets changed when dirty flashing.

Does Liquid have a "defaults" button in their color and gamma controls like AOKP does? I found that worked regardless of kernel I was on, though I suppose it's possible the kernel was too far ahead or too far behind, the offset/base of the values could have changed in the kernel or ROM.

I can get you the default values from AOKP M5 (with stock faux kernel) if it would help you?

With this information, I think the problem is a combination of the kernel packaged with liquid 1.35 (franko's) default values and switching to lean kernel with it's default. I don't think that knowing the android defaults for these settings are giving to mark a difference. As I stated above, I'll just wait for a new liquid to release then clean install.

If you dirty flash, you are pretty much on your own if you have issues. As soon as I see "I dirty flashed" I write it off. Some get lucky and some don't. The thing is you can never be sure if it is the root of an issue or not.

Hence why I plan on "clean flashing" the next update. I'm not new to android, or rooting. Check my profile and history of posts.

Edit: Oh, and I wasn't asking for someone to fix my problem for me(I already solved it, albeit, temporarily), I was simply asking if anyone knew what was going on or had any experience with the issue. Asking these questions is what leads to solutions and better advancements in the development world(such as kernel devs not changing the stock android values of things like gamma and color multipliers).

OP, I noticed the same thing - I think the values are different from lean kernel to stock AOKP kernel. I dirty flashed and had the same issue. Pretty easy to fix via tuning the gamma, etc.
