lg connect feels so cheap

ya all phones are cheap feeling like that now. not a big surprise. same with vol.
screen on connect has been reviewed to be nicer than a retina display i have both phones and i dont know how you can claim the esteem's screen looks better. when u compare them u finally realize that the esteem's colors are faded and its pixels are grainy when streaming video. stream netflix on both and watch.

specs on the esteem are a joke when compared to the connect from ppi to processor to ram to benchmark even with OC esteem and stock connect.
the only downside is how it looks. and development

you just can't admit you made a mistake by buying the connect, if it was so great you wouldn't keep coming on this forum to argue it's better. You just keep trying to convince your self its better.

no man i got it for 200 second hand. i decided to try the connect for a while since my esteem started having ram shortages causing lags. i still have my esteem and switch once in a while. but my main reason for switching to the connect is the vast improvement in perfrmance the data while talk and the screen. because comparing connect to my skyrocket vs comparing esteem to skyrocket the esteem feels too old with screen technology

Suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuure:musicus:

I'm just messing around with you, I really couldn't care either way. I'm happy with the esteem does everything I need, works just fine for me. I like the larger screen. I'm red green color blind so the color thing you mentioned, I wouldn't even notice.

oh im sorry to hear that. well i guess it does all come down to your specific usage and needs.

A guy I work with got a Connect and I understand what you are saying about the "cheap" feeling. It feels just like my old Ascend. Maybe it's the weight or something but it just felt cheap as shit.

Every time I turn my Esteem on Im reminded of how F'ing much I love this phone..................................I need a moment alone please. :lollypop:

I played with the new Razr and I did not like it at all. WAY to thin. I felt like I was going to drop the thing every second. I need something to hold on to.

ya the connect feels more solid and better quality than the razr any day. befre the razr however the droid lineup was pretty nice
the main thing is the weight with the new phones. the weight makes them feel cheap along with plastic shells.
and p.g. samsung is arguably the best android device provider right now they have the best screens best phones and the nexus and the note and soon the note 10 which shud b amazing.
so i think its safe to compare to them. even the new htc one s feels just as flimsy

Honestly i was a samsung whore before i got the esteem. This is the first lg phone I've had and honestly imo samsung and lg are the same as far as build quality and use.

Both are far ahead of motorola imo. Even huawei (pronounced wah way not hawaii lol) phones feel better than Motorola phones imo.

its mainly about the weight now. its playing a big role in the apparent quality of a phone as with cars jackets lighters watches and so on.
the esteem is a 560sel. its nice heavy sturdy but not enough hp for its looks compared with todays cars. the connect is a 2002 s500 its smaller but more power, doesnt look as great and is lighter but it can perform much better than the 560Sel. i doubt we will see anymore phones like the esteem that age is gone companies are making light cheap hunks of plastic with great performance and thats the end of the story :/

eh I dont agree with that. Samsung does come out with a top dog but it shortly after gets top by htc or moto. But we're not talking guts, we're talking about quality of how it feels in you hand and samsungs feel like cheap plastic toys.

The new razr maybe be too thin for some, but it feels solid, not like you can crush it in your hand lol

And no other manuf has a device that feels as solid as the Droid X* line. Hell the esteem doesnt even out do the DX esp stock gut wise. The locked bootloader does allow others to be modded and benchmark higher, but in daily use its hard to beat still lol.
