I was just noticing that some of the most intelligent human beings on our Earth, both past and present, have some pretty funky hairdo's.
The more artistic the genius, the funkier the hair becomes.
Hmmmm......makes me wonder if that crosses over to some of these technological genius types.

It has been said that some of the most brilliant minds in the world have a habit of losing interest in things they find "mundane". Some go to the extent of ignoring personal hygiene while others will simply stop at the act of grooming.

Then again it is also said that there is fine line between pure genius and utter lunacy. Maybe the lunacy part spills over into wardrobe and haircuts.

Don't let my hair grow out any more keep it about 1/2 inch to 11/2 inches. I live in the South Humidity and Heat are a killer for long or outrageous hair. However in my younger days it was about 3 inches from me butt.

I think that is so true.
When you think about artistic genius's you can see it through the years;
Johnny Depp and Christopher Walken come to mind in the acting world.

Hair is honestly the last thing I think about for my appearance. I shave my head every couple of months once it gets to about 1". I work in a hot environment, my hair has no personality, and it's just not a concern of mine.
I can certainly agree with what OTD said though with those geniuses putting all their effort in their work and brain power thus letting all the "non-essentials" slip aside.

I'm convinced his hair is not a reflection of a lack of personal care. I think it's more for theatrical impact. He would have not survived high school with that hair.
