I Want My LiveWallPapers!!!!

I am a rom flashing junkie, or maybe 2.1 something or other. But when did we start making 2.1 w/o live wall papers? I still have to wait for darchs next aosp or use darchdroid or fresh 2.0b. I dont see why we do not have them on all the 2.1's. I know the hardware limitations, but they run great on darchdroid AND ok on the home launcher for fresh2.0b. I thought they were going to be apart of the BIG 2.1update,well everyone dont get your hopes up;if the legend is coming out without live wallpapers, then we definately will NOT be getting themI used to love sense ui but after using 2.1 and the nexus launcher and live wall papers im hooked. Really waiting for Darch to port cam into aosp. 2.1 official?NO THANKS. Ill take aosp(android open source project)2.1 with cam,and camcorder over that anyday!!!!!Want to know more about any of this stuff??feel free to pm me

They run, but alot of them don't work. It's buggy, they don't stay set when you sleep your phone, yadda yadda. I think thats why the devs aren't including them. I'm sure they'll be included in sprints official 2.1 update, at which point we'll have them when the dev's start tweaking the crap out of it.

Per an XDA post: To try out the live wallpapers, you have to disable sense. go to menu>settings>applications>manage applications> HTC sense and click clear defaults.

The original Fresh 2.0b had them in. 2.0b was NOT based on the Eris build. 2.0b2 and DamageControl, both based on the Eris build pulled them completely, because they were just so dang buggy, as outlined above. There is an apk posted to the DamageControl thread that you can re-install it if you want, but again, they don't work very well. In all cases, you have to switch to home view (disable sense) to view them, temporarily, until they stop working on you...

i ahve them running on damage control 1.0 only some of them work (from market) does come back on after i wake phone up never had that problem of them disapearing even have the nexus launcher on it let me know if you guys want the files

You can get the file here. In terms of functionality, YMMV. They were taken out for a reason, so the devs didn't have to answer a thousand questions as to why they don't work very well. But, if your curiosity is getting the best of you...

thats just the live wallpaper picker apk you still need to change build prop and some system lib to get them to work right
