Galaxy Nexus Watering Hole

So how big is your igloo?? Do you have that fancy indoor plummin yet? We took a trip up to Nashville for our anniversary one year and stayed in this fancy hotel, I think it was called Super 8, that had fancy indoor plummin. It was real nice not having to walk out to the outhouse to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night. I hope we can get that in our house one day, but I guess I'm just a dreamer! I think we might make a trip to the big city this weekend and stop at one of them there shoe carnivals and buy some of them fancy Nikey tennis shoes. I aint ever had no shoes like that before, we usually walk around barefeet down here in Alleybammer.

I'm a little fuzzy on the laws down there: If you get a divorce in Alabama, are you still brother & sister? :p

Hey, I'm FROM the South - I can make that joke! :D

haha, wait you're in the marine/navy and what level is your black belt? You live in a country that allows the use of firearms for protection :p I think the stalker should be more afraid of you :p

Funny story, I went down to Texas to visit my sister and her family years ago. Her mother in law asked me, 'oh you're from Canada? How big is your igloo? How does seal/whale taste like?' >_>;;; I don't think she was being funny.

I did 7 years navy, but all that time was spent in a lab. But yeah, they should be more afraid of me

Hey guys, can I ask a serious question real quick? I'm still getting a TON of random reboots, and it seems like it's been increasing over the past few weeks. It feels like it used to happen once in a blue moon, then once every few days, then once a day, now I'm getting multiple reboots daily. It seems to be corresponding with a slow decrease in my battery life as well, I barely make it through the work day now. It's really disappointing. Do other people still have issues with these?

No, I have a release day GNex and haven't had any problems. I restart it once a month or so. Sounds like you have an app that has gone rogue. Anything showing up in battery usage data.

I get a reboot every time I use wifi tether, without fail, but otherwise nothing. I am on the first leaked 4.0.4 rom though.

This is too funny

Reproduction: Problem occurs randomly and I can't reproduce on demand

Issue: There is a bug in the display

Correct Behavior: There should not be a bug in the display

Hardware: Motorola droid.

Issue 8999 - android - Bug in home screen display - Android - An Open Handset Alliance Project - Google Project Hosting

Some people are just really ...how should I put it...ignorant!

How a bug got into a display, Google only knows.

OK, same setup as me. Go to Settings | Battery and the top two should be Screen and Android OS, if it is anything else, that is usually a problem.
Yeah, I look at that screen all the time, usually when I'm frustrated by poor battery life. Screen and Android OS are always the top two; my Android OS is on the high end for GNex users, I think, usually 20-25%, but I've seen it in the high 20s.
