Shouldn't that be a lower case, "c", old boy? ;)

The OP stated he's using the US language pack, so "dialling" is therefore wrong, surely? ;)

That information was added after I wrote my post I'm afraid. Besides, since ICS has only been released in the U.S. for CSC code XEU, United Kingdom, on the i9100, then ChrisPainter should find that going to... Settings > Language and input > Language and selects English (United States)... that Dialling will be shown as Dialing! :hmmmm:

Seen it before but I'm still amazed how quickly I can read that. :)

How pedantic!
There should have been an upper case "Y" in there too, but that obviously escaped you!

Didn't want to labour the point. Besides, I was originally trying to run your post through the Welsh->English translator before I realised what it was.

Just thought I'd give you your 1000th "Thanks" old boy!
Congratulations!

Thanks for that... my mum had to give me the other 999. :D

Do you get an AF cuddly toy now?

Yes, please!

I've just checked my own handset and with Language set to English (US) the word "dialing" is definitely displayed. Changing back to English (United Kingdom) alters this to "dialling" so it's not hard-coded but is definitely dependent on the Language setting.

Double-check the setting on your handset by selecting another language then reselecting English (US), Chris - maybe the update has confused things.

11 posts about a word misspelled in certain countries. I get this issue a lot on my phone. The default language is English (Australia) and we get words like recognize and license...tch. Of course it's not really noticeable unless you're incredibly pedantic or you're looking for it.

Edit: I like how this was OP's first post. He edited it and now is probably gone forever!
