So inside the back panel of my AT&T version Note, I notice there are these two gold leads with corresponding connections inside the back of the door. Any idea what these are? I poked around the internet for a while and couldn't find anything.
I want to hold out hope that they're a precursor to induction charging back covers, but I'm sure that's almost nothing but wishful thinking. There's an induction charging mod that you can do to your phone, but my hands are not nearly that steady with a soldering iron, and I don't feel like voiding my warranty just yet.
Pretty curious about the antenna ports, too.
EDIT: After a good bit more poking around, I figured it out. The leads are for the NFC antenna stored in the battery door casing
