i, for one, REALLY appreciate you even taking the time to ask for the communities input.

as one of the few people willing to take over rom cooking for the triumph, you technically could drop WHATEVER you want on us and we would be forced to take it until someone else helps, but you are doin the opposite.

I havent changed roms in 2-3 months but i will try your newest fresh cm7 build when i see it.

thanks!!!

if i wasnt ridiculously broke id paypal you some cash for your work

Nail on the freakin' head dude, and I think you'll like the new build, some really nice fixes in there!

+1 for the paypal thing too, but I'm not old enough to open one without a signature even if I did have the money :/ Lol

In light of portezbie mentioning the themes, I do like the little things you've changed, like:
The boot logo
Making icons cyan instead of green
Adding more theme options
Etc...

Yeah I will be leaving MIUI and also ICS themes just cause, and of course the boot logo :D Right now the Camera is still acting up but only when you are on the front facing camera and switch to video, so it looks like some more fixes where released in the newest updates that I pulled yesterday. I will check to see if I have missed any other updates from Cynogen when I get home. Probably will release it tomorrow.

(puzzled newbie question alert) When you say "front facing camera", you mean the one that faces the user if the screen is also facing the user, right?

I normally don't use that one, so if the other one (if I understand correctly, this would be the back-facing camera) works in this ROM, that's good enough for me, and I may well consider shifting over, since I'd assume something pretty minimal would offer better performance and battery life.

You are correct! Yeah it seems to be pretty solid right now, I specially like Zeam as it allows for up to 6 icons in the doc (includes the app launcher). I am surprised I have never heard of it until I started this post.

So if I do decide to switch, would I be correct in thinking that waiting until tomorrow (or when you next release) would be my best move? :)

Reloaded is OK, but I'm not seeing much improvement in battery life, Gallery's broken (at least for me) which is causing wallpaper-changing issues, I can't figure out where to put startup/shutdown sound files, and I've had a random reboot or two. Hoping g60 will do better. ;)

I've been alternating between TG-reloaded (3/25 build) and minimal triumph. Minimal triumph is really nice but I do miss some of the gingerbread goodness. Can't bring my self to jump to any of the ICS roms until the camera works at least as nice as CM7. I'm salivating at the idea of a bare bones CM7 with options to add tweaks and themes as desired by the end user. Really looking forward to trying your next build!

Dual builds is a really great idea, but also sounds like a lot to put on your plate. Thank you for effort you've put into this!

IMO the triumph community is as strong as it ever has been because of Devs like you who continue take a risk and jump out into the unknown with or with out the thanks you deserve. Thank you!

for you, it may have been an issue during flashing, both CM7 reloaded and CM7g60style i believe run the 1% battery mod, i personally from stock to cm7-reloaded gained 2 days worth of battery, my gallery works 100% fine, altho i deleted it for the smaller faster Quickpic, and ive never ever had a random reboot

as for startup/shutdown files ive never played with it so idk bout that one

but for your first question yes, id wait till tomorrow, the build up now has many things g60 is about to drop-out in the new build, better to wait then to flash now then again tomorrow

keep an eye on the CM9 thread then, i believe they got the camera working, then it broke again and now there currently working on fixing it

I'm going to give a thumbs up to Zeam, also. Just installed it today on my Triumph and my Nook, so far I'm very impressed. It seems to be very quick and light on system resources. It's not quite as customizable as 360/ADW/GO launchers, but I use CM7's theme chooser with an ICS theme and I'm happy.

I think we all appreciate your work more than you know, and I say go along with whatever you want (or others, if you're in that mood).

If you want to go barebones, then as said before definitely provide some ideas of new launchers and such you may find that we might like. Personally I'd never heard of 360 before you came along.

Keep up the amazing work!

I love the idea of killing the bloat, but I personally think we should still keep the File Manager and Wallpapers. At least add some custom wallpapers. Anyone here know Photoshop or GIMP?

i do dig the normal cyanogenmod wallpapers but i can always pull them off a different build if i wanted or get them from removed apps, and for me, the file manager is cool but if it doesnt come with it its fine, cause its inside the removed apps section, you can download it and just throw it into the zip without issue im pretty sure, or download a different one as soon as ur market is up

i was also curious to if there was any super photoshop users on here, except i wasent thinkin it for wallpapers, i was thinking this rom deserves its own boot animation :D, i was thinking if someone could make a boot animation that is similar to the CM9(in definition and awesomness) one but using the g60 Splash image thats currently in this rom it would= Awesomeness lol

I don't want to call out anyone but I believe CornfedChris is working on this. He is the one that made the pimped out boot screen so will see what master work he creates if he is truly is working on it :D

Nice, i really dig both the splash screens he made, but i like the one you choose for this better of the two, kinda has a cm7 feel but it looks super HD on the phone and its so clean, im not excited to see if a boot animation is going to follow

cause i was looking at the cm9 boot animation and its so cool, i was like it would be awesome if this type of animation was built on the g60style splash, it be like a custom stock style boot, the splash image would appear, then the screen very quickly would switch from splash to animation which would have the same background so u wouldnt even know it changed till the animation began lol (kinda like the stock moto logo quick switches to the animation but unless u see it change you cant tell cause there the same image, it just seems like water drop effects are coming outta your moto logo outta nowhere lol)

Personally, I prefer GO launcher to 360 and Zeam. It seems to be way smoother than 360, and with more English support. Zeam is just a bit too minimalistic for my tastes.

360 also seems to be less cutomizable on a finer level, but that may be that I haven't experimented with it for long enough.

I think I'm with you. But as for a starter launcher, it's great! I think the idea is to keep is light and simple, for that, Zeam is apporopiate. There are many apps I use in place of the apps that the ROM is built with, that's why I am learning to build myself.
