Help Samsung S2 and Android 4.0.3 - internet browser now crashes when starting!

hi there - just reposting this on the appropriate thread.

my samsung s2 updated a couple of days ago to android 4.0.3 and it asked me to sync my internet to my google account. Now everytime I try to access the internet it crashes, I get a blank screen, a pop up box says 'unfortunately the internet has stopped' and goes back to the home screen. I've tried all sorts to resolve this. Any help to resolve would be very gratefully received. Many thanks.

It seems to work fine with firefox but possibly issues with Google????

Maybe the software was corrupted when it was uploaded??

Sorry, I'm new to android phones so I'm not sure what to do.

I was wondering how to reload the new android software again. Should I approach Virgin (the service provider) or contact Samsung?

Try going to settings, applications, manage applications, find the browser and clear data and cache.

Hi, I encountered this. I could not get Firefox to work, but I downloaded Opera Mobile Browser and it seems to be oK.

I have the same problem. Internet does not work.
Clearing data and cache is not possible, due there is no "Internet" application.

Installed Opera and it works, but would appreciate if somebody have any ideas how to fix this issue?

It is listed under applications and you can clear data, I had the same problem and this fixed it for me.
