Bugs
Music Player Force Closes(To be determined)
MMS is broken in this current build!
This build is Odexed and not De-odexed
Roaming Indicator is back

This rom is based of Cyanogenmod, IHO

Major props to Gannon, for teaching me, CM team for building, LeWa for building the rom, those i port off and IHO for extending the project. :D

Port your own Lewa!?

1. Download a CM7[IHO] rom, latest build is better.
2. Download a LeWa mdpi rom.
3.In the CM7 rom, deletes the following folders: Apps, Framework, Media.
4.Copy Apps, Framework, Media, from LeWa rom to CM7 rom.
5.Save zip, copy to Sd card, flash the zip.

Good luck! Again, thanks Gannon! :D

MIUI and LeWa are 2 totally different things. They are both based off of CM7 but it seems that Lewa had more less annoying errors. Like booting ;)

MIUI by you is more stable and usable on our OMs, the ringtones would not work with LeWa, there were FCs when trying to change it....music didn't work, I had to add Play Music....it was too much trouble and everyone wanted something with everything working....the OM people aren't a real fan of small bugs like these...they are kind of spoiled xD

Depends on which port you do. I ported this from the Optimus One, most recent build. I remember at one point you couldn't select ringtones or anything as well on an older build.

This one just has music FC, as far as I know. I think there was a tiny bug in the launcher as well.

I don't port the optimus one roms to the M they dont work right a lot of times but I do port it if it was ported to the V first. There must be some mix of files that have to go together for it to work on the M.

If you ported it from the V, we had a bad port at the time with notification force close. One>Op V> Op M :D?

Yea we never had a notification FC.....o_O

With One>M I get many FCs, but when it's One>V>M almost none :D
Except what's mentioned to happen in the non ported version...

Depends on what LeWa rom you ported.

From which phone, and the release version.

Not necessarily Noob. For us, it depends on which version, and for him, it depends on which phone.

Sammy, don't take offense to this, but the way you port ROMs is totally backwards and WAY harder. All you need is the apps, frameworks, and media folders. Just replace yours with ours and you will have the same. You will not have to worry on which version (CDMA or GSM), which resolution (almost all the time(MIUI)), and which most of all how similar the phone is to yours. It would help if you looked at my porting guide on AndroidCentral.

I did

I just haven't had time to try your way and I have a zip full of all the files I replace so its still pretty simple still. It was hard to figure out how to port that way though.....

And it could still be handy for something.

I finally got the chance to test this ROM out. I'm not easily impressed but this ROM impressed the heck out of me.
Let's start with the first thing: The Lock screen. When I first downloaded it I was expecting to see the lock screen shown in the first post. This ^ is what I got instead. The Angry birds bounce every so slightly every now and then. The ground is scrollable and, when flicked left or right will take you to the home screen. When you flick an Angy Bird with the Icon for what you need to do, It makes the the very same Weee sound that they do in the game.

The Dropdown: Once it is flicked down it shows toward the top your data Usage and has an System optimizer button(app killer). Down at the bottom is a scrolling widget bar with 11 widgets total. GPS, Bluetooth, Mobile Data, Lockscreen, WLAN, Screen Orientation, Normal/silent mode, Brightness, Airplane, reboot, and power off.

Next we have 2 choices for Launchers. The Lewa launcher has got to seen to be understood. I'm thinking of making this my new launcher. It comes with my favorite: Launcher Pro, but I might just go with the Lewa, or use both. It has MiLocker that is intergrated into the system and has an app in the drawer. Will update when I've got more info. To much cool stuff to play with. This is a must have ROM. Seeing with your own Eye's.... only bogles the mind even more.

EDIT: The Lewa launcher allows you to make folders to group apps into thus saving space on the 3 screens. The App drawer is a pull up, page scroll left and right drawer.

Did I mention how amazingly smooth and fast this is. Just like ICS. I'm liking this more even than the ICS ROM's

Music player force closes. Will attempt to fix with a kernel change. Worked! Flashed BobZohme's newest kernel (did not wipe anything). Music Player is working great.

I had a couple of force closures when if first installed but after I rebooted it a couple of times it tightened right up. With the kernel change it solved the Music player issue's. Now I'll have to see what's in the settings.
EDIT: I'll have to play with all the new app as well.
Forgot to mention something else I like about this ROM, The only way to get the screen to come on is by hitting the power button. No more pocket browsing when I forget to double lock the screen (regular screen lock + pattern lock). No I can just turn off the screen and throw it into a shirt/vest pocket and not have to worry about running down the battery because the phone turned on with the front buttons. This means I can just pull it out and hit the power button and I'm rocking and rolling. Instead of having to go through all that unlocking mess.
