As you may or may not know, StormDroid 2.0 has some bugs. We have been trying to find ways to fix those bugs while making minimal changes to the rest of the ROM. I'm afraid we might have to go around that.

On Wednesday, May 15, I will post the first StormDroid 2.1 Nightly here for all to test. At the moment, I'm the only StormDroid dev who still has an Ally to test with and it's not activated.

After StormDroid 2.1 is released, I will begin working on a PMP StormDroid, but that's for a later time.

Here's a list of what we plan to accomplish for StormDroid 2.1:
Fix title bar text not showing up
Fix no battery icon on charging (might have to remove power options for that)
We'll finally get those themes to you
Maybe some kind of app
And more (maybe)

If you still have an Ally and would like to help user in the next StormDroid, just go to StormDroid Nightlies. If your Ally is still activated, that would be even better. Just put whatever comments you have about 2.1 here in this thread.
Thanks!

EDIT:

Nightlies are LIVE! You can download the first one HERE!

I almost puked when i noticed the stock wallpaper.

I've noticed two things so far.

It appears that the time, date, & charging needs centered.

I was just wondering if you knew of someway to fix the titanium backup guru problem and the swiftkey force losing problem because those are the ONLY two reasons that I dont use StormDroid as my daily ROM. I loved it when it first came and always used it until I figured out of those problems. It felt light weight and smooth and having those problems erased would make me use this ROM all the time.

Also I feel like Stormdroid 1.2.1 was most definitely the best ROM of them so far, with only the exception of the apps going crazy like the ones above.

I just flashed this too and I still have the Bionx boot image and animation but that's okay. It seems very basic and stock, which I don't mind, but I do like how everything was in Stormdroid 1.2.1 the best by far. Also I just noticed that the kernel can't be over clocked? It maxes out at 600 still and there is no smart ass CPU governor. That is interesting...

As mentioned, I'm rebuilding 2.1 from stock so I haven't added in death2all110's kernel yet. Splash and boot animation will come later.

For what its worth if TB is built into ROM you must flash the latest version to Rom for it to run without errors.
Launch the latest version of TB and go to menu, more, create update.zip. Choose Amend as scripting type, choose TB will be installed as system application, and you can choose either options as the name of the output file.
Now your ready to flash it. Reboot into recovery, choose install zip from sd card and toggle signature vitrification off then choose the file you just made. Reboot and TB should be working fine.

+10 to you for this find, good sir. Hope you don't mind, quoting you in the release threads.
