Galaxy Nexus Watering Hole

Roze, I'm so a morning person. Can't get me up past 11pm nearly any night.
I struggle coming to work on Thursdays at ~1pmish. I'm like "Good mor....hey guys!".
I'm also a night person :) So...those two doesn't really go hand in hand :( I wish I live in Spain with their siesta. Would love to be able to take a nap everyday XD

I am also a morning person, but there is a limit. My current schedule of up at 4:45am (and 4:20 on fridays) exceeds that limit. :p

OK, Anti you got me beat :p I'm a grumpy person if I were to wake up that early. What time do you go to sleep? 9pm? 8pm?

Hey y'all! So I took some advice given here and downloaded SMS BACKUP+. Hopefully it works as advertised!

@Stigy: Sorry about your iOS app. You'll get it approved, I just know it!

@BB: SPAAAAAAAAAM

@JB: How you doing brother?

@Captain: The wife and I noticed that you didn't fly BB out here to watch the Coopster. It's cool though; we found a babysitter.:D

@blkblt: Where you been son?

@My wife (not an AF goer btw): I love you! I enjoyed our dinner and movie last night for our second anniversary. Hopefully I can take the whole day off next year. I would be less of a man without you. I love you baby!

@All my other Nexicans: miss you all!

Morning all its been a busy few short weeks.....
I had a tooth pulled last week and i am still in a lot of pain. Going in to see the dentist this morning to check it and catch up on stuff like fillings that I have let go for 10 years....so check the wound and three fillings this morning.
Then about an hour after that, my better half, her father, her sister and the sisters boyfriend and I are all headed to Yosemite National Park for 4 days of camping and hiking!! Woo hoo long weekend!!!!

Also, I have had a car sitting in the driveway for 2 years, no driving just sitting....since I moved in with my other half...we work together drive together live together...anyways, we have not needed 2 cars for the last 2 years+...well I sold the car this last weekend. So I have spent the last 4 days cleaning and being a mechanic...its now registered and smogged and detailed all by yours truly and in 4 days no less!!!!...and now to be delivered to the buyer today on my way out of town. Its a 2000 Chevy Impala...and its funny. Now that its clean and running, I kinda miss the old girl!! Oh well, out of the driveway and I made back what I paid for it originally, so I am okay with that.

I hope everyone has a great rest of their week, and a great weekend...for those weekenders there are!!! See you all next week!

I am a morning person all the way...up at 4/430am PST everyday, and if I am on the couch or in bed...asleep before 9. Everyone one of my friends gives me a hard time...cause 830 is bedtime. But I feel like I can get a lot done between 4 and 7 in the mornings...even weekends!!!
And the siesta thing...funny you should mention that, we just talked about this stuff last night!!!. We come home at lunch 4 out of 5 work days...and I take a 10 min nap...and all good for the rest of the day. On the weekends...at least an hour in the middle of the day...and I am good.

Oh man, I can't go to sleep at that early. I can imagine your friends giving you a hard time with that :p It was definitely the right move to sell the car. You should have sold it after the 1st year of it being unused. Good to hear that you made back your money. That's usually not the case with cars with its high depreciation.

So, random googling took me to this article.

Monkey Bars No More: Trying The Money Playground : NPR It discuss about this program for Jr High student called 'Finance Park' where kids are given roles as adults and are told to manage their finance and budget their spending. Very interesting. I wish I had something like that when I was in school.

We did something similar to that in high school. Not as in depth but we got a 'family' of another student for husband or wife and a sack of flour as a baby for a week. Had to do a budget and keep a journal of all childcare and expenses. Some people were single parents too (my shop teacher told me I had to work with my ex :eek: - he was a smart man, we got the highest grade in the class cause our sarcasm towards one another in the journal made the teacher laugh). I think these types of programs, if done properly, really can show kids how the world works.
