Gumbo Kernel for the DamageControl ROM?

He helped damageless incorporate his memkiller settings into the rom so it already is in there

Gbhil hasn't thrown in the towel all together. Once (if) we get kernel source after 2.1 is released we'll have lots of opportunities for optimizations and tweaks for further improving speed and memory management.

Umm, not to get into semantics, but in addition you said "so no more". Trust me, even if gbhil was FULLY retired, someone else, including me potentially, can step in and compile / optimize kernels. The key is gaining access to the source.

and that would be great if anyone makes then but GBHIL isnt making anymore for public release as of now so yes gumbo kernels and roms are no more

True We'll see. I think part of the initial anger from the whole ordeal may wear off. We'll see. If he's like the rest of us, he won't be able to stay away long. And from the work I've seen him do, he'd be virtually impossible to replace, that's for sure.

hes already making himself a custom rom not sure if it will ever be released but hes round still working and helping make how to guides for everyone
