I use my Evo as a wifi appliance.

Xfer your number to your new phone, turn off mobile data, turn on wifi, and you're there.

Put it in airplane mode and then turn on wifi to save battery(last days), then do everything besides cdma talk and 3g data. Nothing else to do to it.

It is amazing how two years = ancient, wholly outdated and woefully inadequate.

Its is nearing 3 years old but im sure you wouldnt be saying that if you had to live with it. Since i rooted it it is running better but it is still amazingly slow. When im on full wifi it takes almost 45 seconds to fully render facebook

THE PAIN! Thus why I am willing to wait as long it takes to get the LTEvo. I'm excited to get a top-tier phone as well as get away from Samsung.

Same i fell like the hero is aging much better than the moment has. I really wanted the keyboard at the time so i went for it. Mistake

If I could have found a spare battery for the hero I would have easily sold te crapple iPhone 4s and used the hero. I did say today thwart I was going to order a battery for the hero until I heard the news.

I miss my Evo and yes I even miss the moment. I just miss android.
