This is Deck's ReLoaded. For a background on this project please see this thread. Deck's ReLoaded is based off of Kushdeck's 1.3d GB AOSP ROM, the undeniably best GB AOSP rom to ever grace our EVO's.

Random problems with "side-loading" apps. Some work some don't. Download from market or make a flashable zip for install. Bug is being looked in to.

I checked this out today its real sweet but I couldn't get my data to stick in it, then go launcher disappeared after sending apps to SD. When a final release is ready ill probably switch to it. And I hope they do the ics rotation animation like in cm 7.2 rc1. That's what I'm on now, and ill stick to it until this is ready completely.
Edit: when go launcher disappeared upon a2sd, it was because I stopped the process in terminal emulator, because I though it froze. So no actual problem with the rom. Thought that was worth mentioning. But I could not get my contacts to stick with TB or Google sync. So I don't know what up with that?

I love this rom but can't get GPS working. I've tried reflashing the rom and flashing GPS fix but still nothing. Even tried GPS status from the market that was recommended over on xda.

Seriously this rom is nothing but great. You owe it to yourself to try it out.

It's been decided that since we will be adressing valid user issues with the next update (so sorry fans there are several of them) that this will be a good time to do a complete rewrite of the installer as well as sift through the entire framework followed by much testing. The benefit is a much better ReLoaded rom which will in turn please the masses to no end. As a result do not expect an update today but rather at some point tomorrow. We not only know what has gone wrong in certain instances but what needs to be done to correct them thanks in no small part to you...the awesome Deckheads that you are. Stay tuned and as always keep yourselves ReLoaded!

I like it. It's the only ROM that will ever pull me back to gingerbread. This is kind of stupid, but one of my own personal "smoothness" tests is launching the app drawer with GoLauncher's "windmill" transition for opening the drawer. I think it looks cool. Anyway, even with the LEE kernel it would stutter just a bit on Smartass. Changing to interactive made it smoother, which makes sense....more juice from Interactive than SA. With Wheatley it's smooth as silk but it would be a little slower if you clock down into the 600's or so. I was clocked to 5XX last night and it was smooth as silk with Wheatley on Deck Reloaded. To me, that's absolute proof that I'm getting the same or better performance with a lesser clock setting on my processor. Total efficiency.

a lot of effort, communication and attention was paid to tighten up this already tight ship. some important details unfortunately were overlooked in our excitement to get this out in the month time frame we set for ourselves. In hindsight we should have waited another couple of days but hey it's hard to hold back when you know you've got something this good in the pipeline. We've learned, we are correcting and we will rock even harder as a result. Working with Jamieg, mazdarider, smelkus and atyoung has been an absolute pleasure. The love for this rom is overwhelming.

we are building the update as I post this. We have made some very nice changes. As long as the testing goes well after the build is complete we will get it up here right away. fast is an understatement. Stay tuned and prepare to get ReLoaded.

Hey rope, I'm still having problems locking GPS. I hope this new update fixes it.

Also, I needed navigation today so I nandroided back to Tommy's EVO classic and while in it I tried to check for updates on AdFREE and it gives me the EXACT same error (too old?) that Decks Reloaded was giving me. So the problem stuck through the nandroid.

EDIT:

I WAS just able to get a lock by nandroiding back to a sense ROM, using GPS status, backing it up via titanium, and then nandroiding back to decks reloaded and restoring data to GPS status.

I do not know if this will "stick", but it seems to at least be a temporary fix..

Using GPS status while in decks reloaded did NOT help. By using a sense ROM and backing up data from GPSstatus and restoring it in decks reloaded I was able to get a lock.

I'm not sure if its really a lock though. I guess i will find out when I move locations.

All I've ever had to do with GPS status was do a clear data. Never had to back up anything with it. Clear should be one of your options in the app menu.

There was also a clear trick we had to do with cm7 before the vision driver was available. Nand your deck setup. Then flash to sense. Get msl reader from the market. Run the app and write down your msl. Then open the sense dialer and type in ##gpsclrx# and enter your msl when prompted. You might want to double check the command but I think it's right. Your phone will reboot. After it boots, open Google maps and get a good, solid GPS lock. Then nand back to deck.

Like I said this used to be the only way for GPS to be worth a damn on aosp.

OK, I am a super noob, I accept that. Just installed my first ROM on my EVO 4g, which was the Deck Reloaded 357 with whatever the default kernel was. So far so good, except I installed the Netflix client and when it tries to run I just get a black screen. Any one have any help for me? Thanks

Big update being uploaded right now for me to test. Very impressive...you will smile...the OP will explain it all when ready for dl. Skype ffc fixed... tango fixed..all apps that call upon the maps.jar fixed...new system font...stock cm7 themes added back in...additional tc themes to choose from in aroma now available...any apps which either didn't install, installed but fc'd or installed in /data/app but didn't populate due to parsing error are fixed...dta2sd totally fixed!...complete rewrite of aroma installer completed...proper sign in wizard added. (after sign in, wizard will take you back to the beginning again. Hit next and this time instead of signing in just hit skip. The wizard will then fc before taking you into the ROM. There's no work around for this yet...no big deal, it works.) If you want tango fix to stay in place then you do not update it from the market. Shame on you if you do. Finally voxer works just fine now .357 will now go to .44. Get ready to get ReLoaded. I will be doing final testing on this in a short while. If it passes my muster then we will upload it immediately...stay tuned..Bang bang shoot 'em all!

Even if its just a small ROM update i always do a full wipe
