Samsung stock keyboard apk's

Can someone post the apk files for the samsung behold 2 touchwiz keyboard? I am using BH Mans rom and the keyboard in the rom sucks IMO, coz i keep making mistakes.I want the stock keyboard.

You can also try the Hero keyboard that is floating around or the Swype keyboard. IMO, both are better than the TW keyboard.

I think that the keyboard which comes with the rom is the Hero style keyboard... and i dont like it. I am also not a fan of swyping to enter text so the samsung keyboard would do just fine

Swipe is really good, Im using it on my BH2 and it works like a charm, definitely give it a try!.

My Number 1 Problem with the Default Keyboard, There is no enter key...
Which I highly need using Terminal on the Phone..

Make sure you have at least v 1.16.12.5228.219 there are a few older versions floating around.

It's unbelievable how fast I can type with it, or I guess Swype with it. Remember to just type normally to teach it new words, especially terminal commands.

Roger that!, Thats the same version I have (and the one I gave to BH_MAN)

It's lot better the the older ones (I tried one or two that were floating around)

Here's the Stock Keyboard I've de-odexed.
AxT9IME.apk

adb push AxT9IME.apk /sdcard
adb shell
cd /system/app
rm -r AxT9IME.odex
cat /sdcard/AxT9IME.apk > /system/app/AxT9IME.apk
wipe data
reboot

I assume you have to place the file in the tools directory first then do the adb push

i get an error in the fourth step

"rm failed for axt9ime.odex, no such file or directory"

i just decided to continue and see what happens, i got more errors, then rebooted and did a factory reset and now the keyboard is working

I feel that the rom is a little slower after this and the photo viewer app is back to the original stock one. Should i reinstall your rom again?

You do NOT need to do a Factory reset. The

Wipe Data

Does this for you, you will get one error but that's fine. reboot once it's done and enjoy

thanks but somehow i managed to end up wiping out everything except for the ported 1.6 back trying to put the keyboard on. all the customization was gone so I just odin'd back to stock with twiz and will wait till BH_MAN can get the latest fix out and try it again.

I still cant get it to work. I tried following the commands but It wont let me choose the keyboard after the reset. I tried installing it with Astro also and no luck there either. I can get swype and the HTC keyboard to install just fine though.

Hey guys when i try the cat command it gives me the following :
"cat /sdcard/AxT9IME.apk > /system/app/AxT9IME.apk
cannot create /system/app/AxT9IME.apk: read-only file system"
i already mounted system directory as read/write..
any suggestions how to solve this , please
i have SGS1 thanks...
