The Ever popular "I've Got Mine!" Thread.

You know this sucks. When I first pre ordered I had it sent to my work. Well I was sick yesterday and I am sick again today (I am never sick, but when I am sick I am sick) and its going to be delivered today. Thankfully my wife works at the same place. I hope all goes well and she gets it. She has been with the company for 17+ years.

If I knew I was going to be sick I would have sent it to my home address, but they wouldn't have come until later in the after noon. If I was at work I couldn't play with it because I would be working. I am just glad we are finally getting our phones.

But as soon as I hear my wife has my phone and is on the way home is when I nuke this Crapple Iphone 4s as someone is going to buy it.

So, does it feel like Christmas morning for anyone else, or is it just me? :)

Ha, I remember the morning of Dec. 15th getting to RadioShack just before it opened to get my Nexus. Sat on a bench with another guy picking one up. Ironically, RS only had 2 in stock!
But it was such a fun morning. Fortunately, you guys have much better weather for standing outside. Good luck everyone!
Hopefully you'll get a great post like this one:

Quick question for those already receiving theirs in the mail -- must you activate it when it turns on? In other words, can I keep using my current Evo 3D as my phone, but still play with the LTEvo (over wifi and such) without activating it? There's not enough time to do all the transitioning I need! :)

Yes you can do that, Sprint charges you and your put on a contract, unless you paid for the phones full price...It's your phone now you do not have to activated when you first receive it!

Sprint still doesn't list my phone as being shipped, but

So to be clear for those wigging out Sprint isn't showing shipping information.

You ordered on May 7.

As of that posting, Sprint did NOT show your phone being shipped. What about now?

Obviously you got last night some time, May 23, via your wife's UPS super secret spy skills. Do you live in Louisville? She intercept on the outbound? i.e. leaving the shipping warehouse?

Thanks for sharing!

My Sprint Order Status page still has no tracking number or anything other than HTC bar phone. I was able to use the order number on the UPS "Tracking by Reference Number" page to track it.
I live in Denver, the phones left Louisville yesterday. I think she was able to get it as it was being unloaded from the air container at her center.
I'm sure that everyone will have theirs delivered today.

Guess what I got?

Went to Sprint store to buy Otterbox Commuter (which they had in stock) but they wouldn't sell it to me because they did not have the phones yet. WHAT A CROCK so I just ordered direct from Otterbox. (was cheaper anyway)

I couldn't activate on the website, said plan wasn't compatible with the device... turns out the hotspot plan wasn't available anymore so I had to choose a new one. The website made it look like family plan wasn't an option for the phone and I was like... whaaaaaaa?! All is good now, after a run down to my sprint store. :)

EDIT: Sprint guy was checking out the phone. The don't have any yet! This was the first one he'd seen. A crowd actually formed and people were checking it out. Very very cool.

not compatible with family plan?? huh??

that's scary...I'm sure it's just a fluke easily overcome though.

I'm calm, I'm calm....JUST GIVE ME MY LTEVO SO I DON"T GO POSTAL!!!

Manager at BB is supposed to call me back and let me know if the LTEVOs were on today's UPS truck that already came in. oh the suspense!

Yeah, I was about to be very upset. But, looks like their website just can't handle family plan plus old hotspot plans together. All's good. And the phone.... Wow. Just wow.

I will say, the charging port on the side? EPIC FAIL. Can't stand it.

Give it time I hated it on the 3D at first but I prefer it now. Better for docking, better for gaming while charging. I know its personal preference but I have been using the OG Evo for the last week since I sold my 3D and I now hate it on the bottom.
