Got mine this afternoon but have been running around all day and have been unable to activate it. However, upon removing it from its box, I noticed a problem--the top rear cover keeps popping off in one corner. I noticed it was popped open very slightly, so I snapped it shut, thinking nothing of it. Well, it immediately popped back open. I snapped it shut; it popped back open. I took the whole cover off, reattached it, and the dang thing popped back open. I can't tell if it's a defective cover that's not seating well, or if the phone itself has a physical defect preventing a cover from seating properly.

Either way, I'm going to a Sprint corporate store tomorrow to see if they can help.

Yeah idk why but since I got my phone the only issue I have noticed is sense is constantly crashing and it has before I loaded any apps, or even activated my phone and when it does it, it says loading and then sense comes back but it doesn't prompt me for an error report to send to HTC and I turned HTC error reports on! So I'm not sure but I just e mailed HTC about the issue so hopefully il find out something! I can't be the only one

I just got home from work a bit ago and had an email that my best buy preorder was ready for pickup. It was from 2:30. I got my phone at 1:00. Didn't get to mess with it much at work was busy but I installed a few apps and I used to love Flex T9 but I like the HTC trace on this phone and speaking the text even works great. I always used Flex T9 before. I haven't messed with it much but I put a few apps on there and still need to configure my emails and my handcent.

One thing that happened was she had me sign into FB at BB and it synced my contacts well I had my contacts under Google with just peoples 1st names now I have dups with there full facebook name. I used to have people linked with google and facebook and now it says you mail also. But I ended up deleting all my contacts cause there were dups and am just trying to sync my google contacts. But they wont sync I get an error message. and then I was going to manually sync each one to FB but I can't get it to sync. It says sync internet and instant upload what does that do? I'm unchecking alot of these that I don't use.

But anyway it's a great phone I'll be up all night messing with it. I preordered and even though I didn't have to put 50 down for preorder I did and then I got to use the phone freedom and the preorder 50 both towards the phone. So I paid 61 more bucks today. So I paid a 100 bucks for the phone sold my 3D and accessories for 250 came out good.

I cant make calls, and it reboots every time i try, other than that when the phone is off it looks GREAT and when it is on the Home screen it looks GREAT. I just cant make or recieve any phone calls? Kind of a problem. I am a loyal sprint, HTC, and evo fan though so I am being patient after two and a half hours of working on trying to get it set up and functioning and now i get to call tech support

That is not the problem. it wont turn on at all. Its been charging for 2 hrs but it just wont turn on at all. The notification light is blinking orange though if that helps

Edit: May have figured out the problem. I think my charger wasnt connected right. It tries to turn on now but it is still dead as a doorknob

Blinking orange means its too dead too turn on.. same case with the 3vo but red blinking with the 3vo

I remember a mod (I think EarlyMon) saying don't let BB mess with your phone far as syncing!

Ah jeez, I found a dead pixel on mine. It's one spot of black and it's super obvious now that I've seen it. I don't even know if BB would have one to replace it with. Son of a gun.

Shoot when I activated my phone I accidentally selected the wrong plan I am on the everything data 450 and out of stupidity and trouble activating the new phone when I hadto renew my contract I picked the unlimited $99.00 plan I just changed it back to everything data 450 I hope sprint don't charge me the fees for the new plan I didn't want and the old/New plan I had and wanted to keep when I switched back to it fml and yeah sense crashes everytime I close an app

Yeah that is exactly how I ended up in chat with someone. I was being forced to switch plans according to the internet. Im sure you were not the only one that wound up on a different plan and will be pissed. I think Sprint has been making some strategical errors with some of this process. My first time being crtical, but after 5 hours and 55 minutes total and having to wait yet another full week to get the phone, i feel like they really have had some big mistakes. I know my situation is more of the exception than the norm, but I have wasted a nights worth of work, will go nearly a month without a phone that I payed for already, I cant get out of that charge until a week to 10 days after I return the second phone they are sending, and so much more chaos. Hopefully some sleep and time will easy my anger.

The big tactical mistake I made, was not preordering through a store. Lesson learned. At least now I will have a little time to see just what other potential bugs are found before I get one that works in my hand. Thanks for letting me vent and for the suggestions that some of you made to try to fix it. As you know the disappointment if a factor in my rant too. Been looking for new info daily for well over a month, and now im like the kid that got coal in his stocking.

If I had to guess... No... I wonder what happens if they still didn't have a replacement for you In 14 days.... Wonder if you would get a refurbished... Or still a new one bc its not your fault their backed up... Hmmm

Sprint LTE isn't in effect yet.

Well, I traded my rock solid MoPho for LTevo......BB called yesterday afternoon to let me know the it was available to be picked up around 1:00. So I wandered over there and wound up being the first person in the area to get one. Setting it up went smoothly, I like it so far. I am confused about a couple things though..... I moved some voice messages to my SD card, as well as a couple apps.....now I can't find either of them. Any thoughts?

I got mine yesterday so I have had about 18hrs with it. Impressions...AWESOME. It is fast, screen is fantastic, feels better in hand then I though it would. Materials feel good, black glossy plastic is not as bad as it is in pictures though it does attract fingerprints. LTE was on by default I noticed.

I have noticed the phone will get warm when using it alot. Maybe i'm just too excited that i'm using it like crazy but it warmed up quickly. Mine is still naked so maybe when I get a case I won't notice it. I also keep hitting the camera key accidentally. Hasn't resulted in any problems but while the button is stiff, it's not stiff enough to resist the pressure of my squeeze when handling the phone. Nitpicking though. Awesome. So glad to have it.

Got mine finally from Best Buy! I've transferred my data and configured all of my accounts. All of the gory details on the Best Buy experience can be found on the pre-release thread. The phone so far has been worth the wait!

Guys please help! I after two hours in the radioshack my phone won't activate! Is there any other reports of this? I is it bc of congestion on the network?? I didn't see any threads pertaining to this... If there is point me that direction

I'm getting two different error codes... It shows that it's seeing 3g and I have multiple bars... It just wont go thru the activation

I spent 2 hours in radioshack and am feeling very frustrated.. My phone won't activate... It is set up to my number and it showing 3gconectivity but when I try and go thru the activation process I get an error code.... Is this bc of congestion on the network?? Are there any other reports of this?? Please help me lol
