Help G1 Not Receiving/Sending Picture Messages

"with most carriers you account has to be counfigured to semd/recv MMS ... most charge for it and normally has to be set on the SIM "

How is this "set on the SIM"? Is it something that I can do myself? I'm using an unlocked G1 on AT&T. I can receive pics by text, but it will not send them.

Thanks

The people sending you MMS have data plans that allow it ... Contact your AT&T CS and ask if you account includes MMS.

Yes, my plan has MMS and I can receive pics by text, it just won't send them. I can send them via email, just not text. Is there something I'm missing in my settings?

Thanks

Could be a size limit... The pic you are trying to send may be to large... try resizing it ... or try taking one that you have recieved ... and send it to yourself ...

Already did that. Size doesn't appear to be the issue. When I attach a pic (one that I had already received via text), it just sits for a few minutes with the red circle/slash, then I get a notification that it didn't send and it saves it as a draft. It doesn"t give me any kind of error message, other than the notification unable to send.

You should go to your PC gmail account online and try to send one of those drafts to your self ... and then delete the rest ....
