Anyone else having issues with programs force closing. For instance when I use DSP manager from time to time in force closes, also tried to use AIVC and it will not work when you initiate the recording button, I'm sure these are just bugs that have to be worked out but I can't stop using this OS because it is so smooth and everything I like is already integrated

have you tried fixing permissions? boot into recovery and make a backup first. then you go in to advanced and fix permissions. once it is finished reboot.

with the gps just change the gps config file open it with text editor then change north america to us gps config is located in /etc also may have to go to settings - personal - location and security GPS source when you select use internal gps then reboot and it should work

When I usually have GPS issues on any mod like CTMOD or CM mod, I usually perform these steps and it fixes my issues.

Note: FasterFix allows you to change the region the GPS is in to United States. It's faster then doing it manually

1. Download FasterFix from the Android Market Place.
2. Run FasterFix and set your time pool to your country. Example: I set mine to North America. Then press Apply. You only need to do this once folks.
3. Uninstall FasterFix
4. Download GPSFix from the Android Market Place.
5. Run GPSFix and place the android on a flat surface for a few minutes. Like a table or something. Make sure it has good reception for the GPS.
6. Let it do it's sing and dance until it's done. When it's done click on 'Start Fixing' again. The goal is to make the app Fix the location as quickly and instantly as possible.
7. Eventually it will fix the location pretty much instantly the moment you hit 'Start'. When you get to this point your done.
8. Uninstall GPSFix

Congrats your GPS has been fine tuned and now works flawlessly. I've done this every time I've ODIN'ed my phone and installed a mod from scratch. This includes countless versions of CTMOD and CM. t works for me every time.

Do you have voice dialer and voice search installed? All of those apps use one or both of those. (except Dsp)

Sorry for the half gallery post above. The quick gallery which is included in Lewa seems to throw a error when opened. Redownloading quick did not help but downloading another gallery app worked. Just FYI.

all you have to do is go to titanium backup remove the stock gallery then reboot then go to market and install quick pic and it should work fine that's what I did

I had the same issue all I did was reboot the phone and ta da it was bright.

i tried but it wouldnt boot. i think there might be a problem with the framework or something. i might try it again or i might just try copying the apps folder for now. heres is the file if you want to try it LeWa_ROM_Cooper_12.03.02 (Deodex).zip

First, the dialer force closes, then my Launcher 7 launcher crashes, then apps start force closing, then wasn't able to receive messages today and calls (did get a notification for new voicemail though). Now, the rom won't boot. Going to have to Odin back and try again or go back to CM7 until the next release which will hopefully be more stable and resolve these issues.

you dont need to odin back. you could just go into cwm and either flash a new rom or restore a backup if you made one

Are ya getting your wipe on good and proper before flashing?

It is extremely important to do multiple wipes, and then wipe again..........that way it ensures everything has been wiped and it is a clean install....one odd ball file, or string etc. can cause havoc...I have been running this now for a couple days straight and been trying out everything, blove and I tested several times before he released this version and in my opinion it is one of the best roms out there for our great phone!!!
So again plz be sure to wipe numerous times before flashing....my advice 2 times bare minimal!!!!!!

Yes, I did wipe three times. I didn't mess with the swapper... though it did crash a few times. I didn't have a backup at the time, so that is why I had to Odin, since I couldn't get it to boot again. When I was able to boot it would take a long time (at least 10 mins at the longest). I installed Hroak's andreno drivers for the 3D stuff and it seemed to take.

I also had on there the ZV6 tweaks (except the 07 tweak so it wouldn't boot loop. They seemed to work good. And the 3g optimizer seems to work well on this too. Was getting good speeds too on downloads around 800s to 1300s. Wasn't sure if the 3g turbo tweak or the V6 tweak would work on this rom, if anyone has tried all these tweaks, what are the best ones to use on this rom?
