From what Ive heard it will a striped down version IE no live wallpaper etc etc.

You know what.... live wallpapers, friendstream etc doesn't interest me in the slightest. I'm actually more concerned about 2.1 than looking forward to it. The only benefit for me is being able to install more apps, but I think most of us should be careful what we wish for.

On some phones the browser multi-touch ala pinch zoom is a bonus, but we already have that.

Custom Modaco 3.2 will surfice, having tried various 2.1 leaked roms i'm not impressed in all honesty.
