Ooook! So today I have received my aftermarket 3800mah extended battery via ebay strait from china.

I can currently tell you:

The back cover is a lot more streamline looking than I expected though it is also fatter than I expected. I can say it is a perfect fit for the warp though it does not snap on quite as tightly as the stock back cover. It does however have a nice feel too it, not slippery at all and my grip does actually feel a bit more steady with the slight extra bulk.

I have wiped the battery stats, shut her down and am now doing the first charge on it to see how this monster battery actually holds up. More info coming soon.

Ok so images were requested, and I have a few to show. Don't slaughter me. I'm no pro reviewer, and my bud who took these is no photographer. Just trying to share an experience.

First off, the real meaning of the matter. How much juice can I get.

As you can see by the % display time I was using it pretty heavily. Lots of streamed videos and tons of surfing mainly. My first charge lasted 24 hours with frequent as possible use but I had a pretty busy day then, so I used this shot from my second full charge.

Edit: I didn't use this the way i normally would for this charge. I had auto brightness off and brightness turned way up. Juice defender was disabled and wireless connections were active. I believe on average my charge would last 20+ hours, and I will be in bed and have it on the charger long before it is ready to expire.

A couple profile shots off the table. Apologizes for the war torn workbench, though it keeps the bills paid.

I like to eat and surf and was worried the bevel on the back would make it rock. Glad to say it does not.

And one more of the back, as you can see they are not indestructible. The back plate does not impede the speaker that I can tell. I use volume+ anyhow and it sounds fine.

I have to say overall I am very pleased with the battery and cover so far, especially for the price. As you can tell from the last photo, I did drop it. It was the first time I had dropped the phone in the 1.5 months or so I've owned it. It is because I was still not used to the weight and added bulk of the phone while pulling it out of my pocket on the move. It's not horrible damage but my friend tried to get a good shot of it to show you, otherwise it's utterly unnoticeable.

The phone is weighty, but I don't feel stressed out using it. It does have more bulk but I can still easily manipulate it with one hand. The back cover is cheap, but does the job. Something to note though. My reception dropped dramatically. I couldn't have that. So I looked into the manual where the antennae are located on the unit (page 111), I carefully peeled the copper foil from the stock cover and placed it on the new back upside down and with a slight curl to reach the bottom of the phone where the main call/data antenna is. My reception has been perfectly fine since. I was worried the gps and bluetooth would be affected by the placement of the copper but they seem to function just fine. I wish I had taken pictures of the copper but I am sorry I didn't think of it. It wasn't a big deal though, just be careful and use a sharp knife.

Overall a good experience, and I only spent about $12. Took some time to ship from china but that's about it. Still many left from various sellers on ebay. Before you take the plunge if you decide, just make sure you're buying from a high grossing top rated seller is the best advice I can give.

Glad its working for you and thanks for the pics and info, but that is way to bulky for my likes.

Yeah I was actually kinda bummed when i first got it. It didn't last long though. It's slightly thinner than a pack of cigarettes, so it really fits in my pocket just fine. The weight isn't noticed too badly either. For the amount of usage I get from it for me makes the difference. The bulk and weight definitely need to be considered for the end user before buying.

Yeah, at work I get these slow moments of the shift printing a newspaper. We're waiting on pages to get finished and plates. I'm a surfin madman and the stock batt I'd have to hook to the charger sometimes a couple times before the shift was over. At least once a shift though, and then again at bed. Heck with that, this thing keeps me goin.

I just got one of these myself today and it's flippin awesome. Now I can keep my backlight fully lit all day and not worry about battery. Personally, it's not that bulky compared to some of the pictures in this thread I think the one is just at a bad angle, and it actually allows me to hold the phone better than the previous back did. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend for any of you Warp users. Was $8 on ebay, can you honestly say you can't spare $8 just to try it out?

Im glad you folks are enjoying them and it helped your battery problem but it just seems to big and bulky for me im very happy with a thin and light phone im all about the comfort from my shirt down too my shoes.Shit at times i take off the after market case the ones you buy in the Mall because I fell its to bulky.During the day i just throw it on the charger if i need a quick boost it charges very fast and every time im in the car it gets plugged in just for the reason i use it as my main music source and i also like to listen to audio books and or podcasts for those boring rides, anyway good luck with it.

My phone has been off the charger since monday and it's starting to go dead! I want my money back!! Haha! Kidding aside, for the price it was a no brainer for me as well. Still no issues to report with mine, and the added size/ weight is still a non issue for me. Guy I work with just picked up a warp and has a ext batt otw as well.

Yeah the size does need to be considered definitly. I'm not behind the wheel enough or I might have been fine with the stock. Feels good not feeling connected to the chord all the time now though now.
