2.1 Problems

Ok I installed darchlegend 2.1 on my hero and it was running real good. (wouldnt turn off thought) After awhile it got a terrible lag so I decidedto switch to damageless rom. I got a force close at boot talking about google partner setup isnt working, anyway I cant sync my google account with my phone (no contacts). I cant use my phone without my google account sync.
Are these regular problems with solutions? or should I just go back to 1.5?

Yes those are problems associated with not flashing the rom right!
You need to do a nandroid backup first then do a wipe back to factory defaults and do a dalvik wipe as well(don't think I spelled it right though) then just for good measure do it a second time!

That could be your problem as it should just be a simple wipe! Your talking about a Dalvik wipe right?

upgrade to the new recovery i posted it fixes that error problem

just look for topics started by me or more then likely its on the second page of this sub forum you install it the same way you did the 1.2.3. version or the 1.5.2 version
