Galaxy S III on all carriers this month?

I agree with trophy, I think a lot of GNex owners will be gunshy with the GSIII on VZW. Samsung has yet to prove it can provide an LTE phone with decent reception on their network.

I know next to nothing about the Charge, but did it have such bad issues? Also, the SGS3 should ship with the S4, so who knows if that will help with reception issues.

I will give sammy my money again. i have actually had a really good experience with the Nexus... however, the S3 will NOT be getting my money. still not a big enough upgrade in hardware, expecially when i am COMPLETELY happy with my nexus.
the Next Nexus phone/s are going to be hard to pass by though. but the Gnex will be with me until the end of 2013. by then, i am really hoping to see quad core, 1080P SAMOLED+ edge to edge screens, ON SCREEN BUTTONS, 2-3gb RAM, and massive batteries.

Nexus already long in the tooth? :D

My wife wants one tho.
I really like the pebble blue one myself.

All the reviews I have seen give this device high marks.
I just don't know if I will dig touchwiz very much.
hehe nope! The GN is great. Touchwiz will be easily banished as the development community will probably have this thing rooted before it even hits the shelves :p

I believe this as well. No reason a lot of users shouldn't be. Will be interesting to see how it performs in that dept. I don't know if the SGSIII uses the same hardware, but surely it'll have different radios. Whether that makes a difference who knows.

iirc the Charge does/did have it's own set of issues like most/all smartphones. I don't know about LTE specific issues, didn't OTD own one?

I have an upgrade available starting July 3rd. But I'm happy with my GNex.
I'm happy too. The techie inside me is intrigued. Always fun to check out the latest gadget.

Yeah same here. I think I will be going back to HTC though, when I do leave the GNex.

My wife still has her Inc (Dec 2010). Father-in-law has my old Inc (April 2010). Wife has dropped hers I don't know how many times. It creaks, rattles, has gouges/scratches in the glass on the screen, chunks of plastic broken off the case back around the edges. Both work like a champ. It's a tank!

The new qualcomm 28nm radio in S4 chip is better, newer one than the radio chip in Rezound. So I think GS3 will perform better on cell radio than verizon nexus. Will see how it does after release.

Also camera on GS3 will be much better than nexus. It baffles me that sammy put subpar camera in nexus while GS line does well on camera.

Funny how a little thing like a kickstand can make such a big difference, cause I too miss it. Not horribly and I've done very well without it, but when sitting at the dinner table and the wife wants to show me something on her TBOLT (my old TBOLT) it is so nice to just flip out the stand and let the movie rip. Again, not a deal breaker, but nice nonetheless.

I'm definitely a vanilla fan through and through. But the Touchwiz is not bad at all. There is an add-on (launcher, widgets, apps, etc..) that you can flash onto a few custom roms. It's really kind of cool, but I can certainly see it get old like anything I run on my phone

I've never had a phone with a kickstand, I think I would love it

This is what I'm thinking. That alone might make me try Samsung one more time.

But the calls wasnt 4G...the G Nex and Rezound let me down in that dept. Maybe calls were effected by 4G issues on those phones? I think I will try a GS3 anyway tho. Worse thing that will happen is I dont like it and send it back.

And yes...every LTE phone I had on Verizon had data issues. The RAZR, G Nex and Rezound all did. Its just some issues were worse than others. If you look over my post history...you will know where I stand with all 3 phones...lol.
