You are one productive husband.

My list for the day: OT at work; give baby a nap; take baby to park; clean kitchen; get 5 shifts covered on next weeks schedule; finish a binder for work; bath for baby; try to be in bed right after baby goes to bed. Not as intense as you Anti!

jmar

I'd cover those shifts for ya but I think the distance and lack of training may be an issue. :D

Knock kno.... aw, screw it, were still family *walks right in* :D

I see Sony put out the smart watch. I am seriously thinking about buying the thing. I think it would be great to use at work for those covert peeks at the radar maps during severe weather with out getting busted with my phone out. Just another way to drive my manager crazy :D

Anyone else thinking about the thing?

AJ, I haven't followed the last couple pages, did you get a Maxx or regular Razr? I have seen plenty of stock ICS ROMs out there for it if you're ready to root.

Yeah, I got the max. Battery life is insane on this thing! 3300mH I think. My nexus even after the radio update and rom and kernel update, was still sucking down the "extended" battery and needed charged once in the morning before going to work and once after before going to bed. The downside to the maxx's battery is it does seem to take longer to charge, but that is too be expected.

I have had a couple issues, and I do not fault the hardware. Its gingerbread. I have not rooted yet because I thought about just waiting for the OTA, but I will likely grow bored and end up hacking the thing soon.

BTW, I paid FULL price for this phone and just swapped out the sim card. So the bright side is, I can still switch between the nexus and the Maxx.

I wonder if I should call her Maxine :p

EDIT:
Decided to add a bit more. The call quality is, wow, just almost night and day from the Nexus. I can hear the other person and much more clearly. While talking to a buddy who has a t-mobile phone, I can hear all kinds of crap. Land line or to another VZW cell, the quality is good. And loud. I have yet to try my music, but I am sure its going to be a step up in loudness.

I really REALLY wanted to love the nexus. I just could not though, even though I was in denial. I wanted and waited for a while like the rest of you and at the moments notice, I dropped the cash and ordered a new line and a brand new phone. Even though I started to hear about the problems.

I guess the moral is, wait a couple weeks before buying another device.

I still am interested in the S3 but I really want to see how it pans out and looks like things are already starting to go crap, the 50mb dropbox with the phone is one example, I guess ATT and VZW customers get a middle finger in the box instead of 50mb of storage. BUT, dropbox is not a deal breaker for me.

And, I want to see what Apple is going to do with the iPhone upgrade. I may run both. Hey, I like to tinker :)

Well, had a nice day out on the town today. Wife was again, sadly working today, so it was just me and the friends.
Watched the DC Pride Parade which was fantastic as always. Got to mess around with friend's Note a bit. Still can't get over how big that thing is but love it too. She took some photos while at the beach last weekend and damn does that phone take some fantastic shots! I think the Nexus can handle a fine quick one, but wish it was as good as the SGS2/Note. She is running some sort of beta ICS ROM and finding a few bugs, especially with the music player. I told her to please post it on the forums and get some help as I had no idea how to fix it.
Basically she's finding a lot of uploaded mp3s to be multiply duped in her player (and she's used a couple 3rd party apps like Winamp) where the file will lead to nowhere. Anyway, hoping she'll sign up and get it fixed. Also said, there should hopefully be some great ROMs coming for it ported from the SGS3 soon.
Night for me, hope everyone is having a great weekend!

Grr. My wife just called, cash, checks, drivers license, and debit card stolen out of her car. SIGH. I guess we should be thankful, they didn't take the DSLR, dvd player, or anything else, and we caught it before they had a chance to use any of it, so only out the cash ($150) . I wish she would lock her car... She never does, and we had this happen two years ago, and less than two weeks later I was having to go behind her and lock the car at night.

People suck. I'm glad to hear that you caught it before anything was used though.

Go to my apps and swipe over to all apps. This has every app you've ever installed. You'll find wallet buried somewhere in there. Click update and you are good to go.

Morning y'all. OT TODAY!

Thanks Jmar, but when I open Wallet in Manage Apps I don't see an option to update. All I can do is Force Stop, Uninstall, Clear data or Clear cache

Hey Capt Ron, open this and scan it:

http://mediacdn.disqus.com/uploads/mediaembed/images/206/9896/original.jpg

Open it with Chrome Browser and hit install. I had no problem at all updating. Wallet STILL doesn't show up in "downloaded" apps but it IS updated now :)

Thanks for the thought Chief, but I still get the dreaded "This app is incompatible with all of your devices." no matter how I sign in/out, back up, go forward, stand on my head, etc... I can't get back to the Play Store to download.

Sorry to hear that Anti, that sucks. On the bright side, maybe she'll learn the lesson this time?

My wife had her credit card stolen a month ago, but so far the thief is spending less money than her so I haven't reported it yet.

Anti, sorry to hear. :(
Wife had her CC info stolen just around Black Friday and boy did they go on a shopping spree! Fortunately, she had everything recouped. We've had our car broken into 2 times so far. First time CD player and all my CDs were jacked (most of which are indie bands nobody even knows about), second time I don't even think they entered the car as the doors were all still locked (just window broken).
It definitely sucks for both the repair costs and the sense of security.
Hope you guys are all right.

Morning all just stopped in to get caught up..had our engagement shots taken last night and had a good time. Will post a few when they come in in about 2 weeks...
Have some carpentry/cabinetry to start today, and my better half is going to work in the yard.
A little about our week...my other half gets a jury notice every year(and I have yet to receive my second one in 10years...) anyways, we both work in the same department which means when she is out it gets a little crazy...well she started jury duty Wednesday, and the person who is her actual backup is there wed, Thurs and Fri...but left this morning for Hawaii for a week...so now I get to do her job, plus the backups job...oh and another guy in our group decided to not show up to work last Thursday and Fri...so I had to do his job too...and now I just got an email from the supervisor...that the guy is going to be out all week too....woo hoo!!! I definately need a new job....I warned my other half that I am going to be grouchy this week. Hence the cabinetry....it will give me a chance to unwind and not be so pissed off all week, cause I can work on that each evening instead of stewing on work, etc. /rant

Hope everyones weekend is going well, I am sorry to hear about the wife's $ anti, glad you caught it early. And....I will be 34 in a week...I get to celebrate my b day and fathers day all in one...with my kids and my soon to be wife!!
