Two different network types in same forum

The LG Optimus Net forum has two different phones.

1. The LG P690 which is a GSM network type.
2. the LG L45C which is a CDMA network type.

A lot of times members don't post their phone models which makes it hard when trying to give advice and track down accurate info for their phone.

I can also see where there is a big potential for members to mess up their phones.

Should these be separated, or at the very lest have two different ATR sub-forums?

I would be more than happy to move threads around and clean things up.

It looks like specific ATR forums are becoming a standard and from what I can see and hear, is working out okay.

Galaxy Nexus has been this way. One X and S3 are this way now (just done tonight).

Are we thinking breaking the ATR into two would be best for this forum too? I understand there are some specific non-root questions that might pertain to model but it's more important to worry about people who are trying to root.

Phases,

I think each device that has a CDMA and a GSM architecture, moving forward should have separate ATR forums. Its something I wish the Desire forum had had from the start, much like the Hero forum.

One thing I need clarification on though, are any US carriers still using non LTE that are CDMA? Im not sure if CDMA and CDMA LTE are 2 different devices. I know LTE has different CPU's usually.

Well part of the problem of the whole thing for us is that we need to consider search terms, and what people look for and understand. They understand their carrier. Further, is there not more to think about than custom ROMs in the "all things root" forums? When these were first made, it was to encompass all sorts of things that required root. Overclocking, Roms, removing bloatware, or whatever.

I know we're slow on figuring this out. I know it's frustrating. Believe me I know..

Once it's determined what is to be done I was going to research and add everything to the ATR Guide that was available for there benefit. Didn't think it smart to do it twice. It takes time to add things when I get time to hunt them up.
I can put a notice and disclaimer in the guide and just annotate everything thoroughly? What ever you think is best for the members.
PC is down so it's back to 3.2inch screen and one stylus typing. I'll do the best I can with whatever decision you make. Your way more savvy about these things than I.
I did a pretty good job over at the Optimus Slider ATR Guide (Slider and Q are almost the same and both use it) annotating everything just right.
