Help HTC Magic frront page shows full and it is not

Mine is a HTC Magic (Rogers edition on ATT w/sense UI) ... when I try to add widgets to the opening page, it says full, remove an item..and it is nowhere near full.

Any ideas ...

also,

the home icon and my account icons still point to Rogers...how can I change these?

some of the HTC sense widgets take up an entire screen. If there is anything else on the screen at all then you won't be able to place it. Examples would be bookmarks, messages, mail, Photo album.

The people and music HTC widgets do have smaller versions, people widget will take either the entire screen or 2 columns and the music widget will use either the entire screen or 2 rows

You can't change where the home and account point to, all you can do is delete them off of the home screen so you don't have to look at them. They will however still show up with your applications and there is nothing that you can do about that.

Thank you...that is helpful. I did not realize about some apps taking up the screen...the facebook app is one of those.
