Yeah, I had that one before my casemate. It's ok, it has a nice feel and fits the phone quite snugly. My only beef with it is that it doesn't really protect the screen. On other cases I've tried, there's been a slight lip so that if the phone falls face down, then it's the case taking the brunt of the fall, not the screen. Does that make sense?

I need one similar to what you've mentioned. Could you guve me any links to have a look at the one you have? Or any other recommendations?

Need it to be soft, black and a good grip. As I take it out the case often. To use in an arm and in the gym, let's know..

Did the job, but felt a bit cheap and tacky. I only bought it so my phone wouldn't be without a case for long.

At the moment, I'm using this: Case-Mate Tough Case for HTC One X - Black: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics

I could probably play tennis with my phone (hyperbole obviously , it is a very, very sturdy case though) but it does add a bit of bulk and it might not be to your liking as it's not really designed to allow you to take the phone in and out of the case with relative ease.

Looking at that, I think it offers a good balance of sleekness and protection and I'm looking at reasons to stop myself from purchasing now
