I'm currently running BB v.08 OCed to 1100 mhz and i'm using the neutral network LWP that was made specifically for the droid. Whenever I use my facebook widget or handcent quick reply, as i'm typing with the virual portrait mode keyboard once I reach a certain amount of characters my screen flashes and one of the default wallpapers that comes with the droid replaces my LWP. Why is it doing this? Once i finish the message I can go back and change the wallpaper, but it's really annoying how it changes by itself

Yea it happened to me on DroidMod but hasnt on Bugless Beast .9 yet. I dont use the LWPs that much anyway though

That sounds like the LWP's are force closing on you (just not notifying you about it). I don't use LWP's for reasons like this...they are just a waste of system resources...the novelty just wore off fast for me. I only use static wallpapers and if you switch, you will probably notice a bump in performance.
