Experimental Stock Build .2233 -Latest Bionic Leak discussion

Yes, from 2231 I did the process all over again, the FXZ back to 902, accept OTA update for 905, then flashed 2233 from stock recovery. As I was all over the internet tonight downloading files and getting whatever else I needed, I saw a few people saying that they are working on making it possible to flash directly from the first ICS leak to the second one, but the FXZ process seems painless to me so I just went ahead and did it the long way, and I don't know how true it is that they will ever figure out how to do that. Right now, going all the way back to 902 is how to get onto the second leak.

Also used the Razrs Edge tool to root tonight (had never bothered to root the first leak), that utility worked perfectly well and had my phone rooted in two minutes.

This is the leaked file that will take you from .905 STOCK to 6.7.2233 (ICS 4.0.4)
You must be on .905 stock to use this.
You must flash from STOCK RECOVERY.
It is recommended that you do not use Safestrap with this leak.

The recommended method is to FXZ back to .902 then take the OTA to .905 then flash from Stock Recovey.

Link to the file is here: Blur_Version.5.9.905.to6.7.2233.XT875.Verizon.en.US.zip - Google Docs

MD5 is : d4f9bc75285681a8c9b6e637f7dba98e

I just took the ICS plunge, fxz to .902 took the .905 update ota, wiped data just to be safe and flashed ICS 2233. Just activated and letting it download stuff from the market, will root and see where we are at when its done. :)

I can already see a lot of bloat that's going to have to go away, but as I'm going to have to FXZ back to .902 anyway to get back on the upgrade path when the final comes out it's no big deal.

I think I understand the rest but what are you supposed to do with the MD5 stuff, whatever it is? Thx

MD5 is a hash or checksum to check the file you downloaded against what it should be to ensure it hasn't been tampered with. A excellent free program along with a full explanation of what it is and how to use it is available here WinMD5 Free - Windows MD5 Utility Freeware

Been on and playing with ICS all day and I hate to say it but I kind of liked Motoblur. Also like many others have reported my CPU is clocked to the same old 1000Mhz, not 1200Mhz.
Still, all in all, a vast improvement!:)

Mine is clocked at 1200. I wonder why some are clocked at 1000? Also looks like a reboot helped fix the small icons. Have you tried a reboot to see if that fixes your CPU. Won't hurt to try.
