Any new phone rumors for Sprint?

I'm not into the 3d phone concept. I don't mind tv, but phone just made me dizzy...lol

Lol. I hear that all the time, "it makes me dizzy, or hurts my eyes". It does take some getting use to. But I love taking nature shots with the 3vo. Just wish it had a better camera. If it had the camera of the One X, this phone would really be great in my opinion.

It's really just my unique experience. I get dizzy trying to play 1st person shooter games and watching 3d that has a lot of movement.

I even got some great tips from Earlymon when the 3d came out, but even those didn't help. Basically, the same way people can't stand pentile screens, that's how sensitive I am towards 3d, especially when compressed to a smaller viewing area.

My wife is sensitive with some 3D movies also. When we went to see Avatar at the Imax it almost made her sick. It just has that affect on some people. 3D really isn't for everyone. I just like having the option.

Anybody going to Google I/O? I'm really hoping something more "formal" will be announced as far as Motorola's offering or offerings for Sprint this year. The single sliding qwerty device having been leaked (MoPhoQ ?) isn't enough for me to be comfortable knowing what my options will be come late October/Early November (if I wait that long).

Geez, It's just across the Bay from me. I wish I could go. I just couldn't justify the time off to go. I'm sure it's going to be very interesting. I'd expect a few "big announcements." I'm hoping that one of them would be something about a Motorola offering on Sprint. But who really knows?

From a development standpoint, I would rather not have 3D as a phone feature. I'm hoping that next year around CTIA we'll see the next behemoth EVO, which I will be purchasing if it has the Krait S4 Pro SoC.

I'm sure next year we will see quad-core LTE Evo. I like the option of having 3D there if one uses it or not its up to them. From a development standpoint I can see that it might be something that is not easy to work around in making apps and other things. But I'm sure we won't have to worry about them making one anymore. Too many people complained about the 3D feature. I don't see how anyone could make money with it. But I find it interesting that Virgin Mobile is selling it. Maybe they are selling all the left over 3Ds that Sprint couldn't sell. lol. I just think with a better camera the 3VO would have been a much better phone.

Yeah, I'm sure that 3D is cool for many people. I'm afraid the Evo 3D made me dizzy from the first moment I looked at it. The technology they used just doesn't work for me in a good way. I like the concept. I'm not sure that it's very practical and even if it didn't make me dizzy, I'm not sure I'd have a use for it on a phone. Just my 2 cents... FWIW

I really like my LTevo.....but my og MoPho was a great device! Quite tough, and I really liked the dialer as well as Moto Blur..... The predictive text was great too.....LTevo isn't a disappointment, I just find I miss the way the MoPho worked.....I may look at getting rid of LTevo when the new MoPho comes out.

If it doesn't I might consider this phone, I miss having a Moto phone. Has to have no keyboard, capacitive buttons, or locked bootloader for me to consider it though.

I'm hoping for both. I need one with a keyboard that'll be replacing the iphone 4s for my family member and a non-qwerty for me on my last 1 year upgrade!

Funny thing is, regardless of which device I end up with, I'll still be keeping my moPho as a dedicated media player and international phone.
