What's your favorite MLB team?

Figured I would share with you guys. The Pawtucket Red Sox had a free skills clinic this morning so I took my four year old son Evan. He had a blast. He got some pitching training from Alex Wilson (a righty reliever out of Texas A&M that could get a call up this year). It is nice that these AAA teams do stuff like this, all free and two tickets to tonights game on them so Evan and I get to have a guys night out.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and root for the Pirates. :D

<------ See my location.

Remember, no matter how bad your team gets, there's always the Pirates. ;)

Granite, you kill me.:D

I think your Pirates have done a real nice job over the last few years in the draft and international signings. That is too proud of an organization to continue struggling like they have. In many ways they remind me of the Rays circa 07-08 where teams and real fans of the AL East knew they were on the cusp of contending whereas mainstream media, casual AL East fans, and fans nationally wrote them off as the laughing stock of MLB. They have many of the pieces in place and could find themselves a serious contender in short order.

Hitman, thoughts on Latos?

He is so FRUSTRATING sometimes. Then he has a night like last night.....

I could definitely understand that, but he's VERY young, and has plenty to learn about pitching in the majors. I honestly feel like the Padres called him up before he was ready. It was only a matter of time before he had a stellar season, and they shipped him out during the fire sale.

My vote - keep faith. He's young and talented, and will be the ace of that staff in the near future. You can obviously see (judging by last night's start) that the kid has the stuff to dominate.
