Root So when's ICS coming?

because if it's true, we have 3 more weeks to wait until we get official ICS. I had been on the fence thinking it was right around the corner, but made the plunge because I had my doubts about it being released in Q2.

Same here. I figured why not. I'm sure as soon as the official release is out someone will make it available for everyone who rooted. Most likely allot better. Without all the bloatware.

@thegeek, so you skipped the ICS "leak" and went straight to a customized ICS ROM (which requires jailbreak?)

No.

I had the ICS leak and it was buggy as crap. It would crash if I tried to collapse a date range of emails; I have Exchange ActiveSync.

I went back to GB, but then got annoyed because I'm tired of waiting.

So, I said screw it today and I rooted the phone. Now I have the OnlyOne HYFR Beta 4 ICS ROM installed and it's flawless. My phone is so much faster, has better apps, and ZERO AT&T bloatware.

Jailbreak was the joke; term for iPhone's LOL.

Hanging out around XDA and I don't see many people bricking phones (don't recall anybody recently unless they tried to put the international ICS rom on the LTE version).

There was the superbrick warning on XDA though, but in the Galaxy Note LTE thread of XDA which I visit a couple of times daily, bricking is very rare.
