You know, there are some good deals on Ebay o.o Not that I know how much power you need to code/compile roms :3 But just a thought. Thinking about buying a desktop (There's a BUNCH for like $50~100)

Yeah i need money for that haha :D like i said before if i got enough people to donate id deffinatly buy one

It takes crap loads of ram and a decent processor... I have a computer unlike Apollo but its slower than the warp and can barely run xp... I tried to run Ubuntu once and all it did was crash... :'(

Yeah i might be getting my sisters old computer im just going to wipe it an put ubuntu in it :D

Hey, just wanted to chime in on the computer situation. The one I run Linux on is a laptop. Got it from a friend with a broken screen then another friend had a laptop with a burned up motherboard. So I Frankensteined a Sony base with a dell screen. Runs mint. Check your local electronic recycling centers. You can find tons of stuff like that. Then it takes a little work to make it work together. I've gotten 3 working flat screen monitors from there. Just a heads up

Ill definitely look into it :D maybe i can find something at the local recycle center
