Had an idea.
Buy the HSPA+ version of the nexus and just shove a pay as you go sim card in it. That is, if that is possible. Doing some research to see if the GSM version is gimped like the CDMA one is.
Blues network seems to work better where I am located then big reds.

I played around with a t-mobile samsung galaxy s3 for a few moments. It was not activated. It had a SD card slot! +1. The back cover is slightly better then the nexus. It was pretty smooth scrolling. The screen was pretty nice. Fit good in my hand. A bit wider then the nexus and thinner. They where willing to sell it to me flat out for 630 bucks plus tax.
I thought about it for a moment, asking if it was a world phone and thus had CDMA on it and if I could unlock and flash it to verizon. I was told I would be stuck on their 2g network. She may have had a point but I thought all carriers where getting the same device, hardware wise.
Hands down the best Keynote presentation I've ever had the pleasure of watching via livestreaming. I am still not able to process all of what I took in today. My socks are completely blown. The Nexus 7 will be my first tablet and I cannot wait.
