Well, it seems that Jellybean, the successor to Ice Cream Sandwich, has been announced and should be arriving OTA in July for the Nexus+Xoom devices.

Whilst it is highly doubtful that the Samsung Galaxy S2 will get it, hopefully, some of the Jellybean goodness could find its way into custom ROM's, courtesy of developers.

I wonder if jelly bean will be compatible with the s2, personally I don't think it will be an issue as it seems that this is an update rather than an overhaul to the existing ICS framework. I really do hope that I can get my hands on a STABLE version at some point this year, I think i've been using ICS for about a month... When was it announced again?!

It's a condition of his community service rehabilitation programme.

It's true! Every day, no matter what, I have to be polite and pleasant to at least one irritating oik!

"Hello Hawker old son. Hope you are well!"

(Phew! Glad that's over with for today) :D

ironass, why are you so nice?

You should try catching me before my first 3 mugs of, double strength, Taylor's, Rich Italian Roast, coffee. I'm like a bear with a sore arse, I was once told.

Jelly Bean Animations

"These are animations, pulled from Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.

As what you know if you've watched Jelly Bean in action, it has different animations than ICS.

It compatibles with all ICS ROMs.

It seems that Google are wasting no time in getting the development kit for the latest version of Android into the hands of developers.

Less than a month after Android 4.1 was announced at Google I/O, the new SDK allows developers to optimize their applications with a wide variety of new features.

The Google devs also urge application developers to start taking advantage of the new richer notification styles introduced in JB, as well hardware accelerated rendering to take advantage of the new framerate optimizations.
