Hello to all of you, I`m Joneidy from the Optimus M forums. I think I may have found an unbrick method for the Optimus M+. I would like someone to try and give me feedback on the method before making it public.

If anyone is interested and want to test, please pm me.

Ps I dont actually own the device but Im very confident that the method works.

Thanks in advance to anyone that is willing to try ;)

Hello. I'm glad to see you back on the forums. I've used your method of getting out of fast boot a couple of times, so if anyone can come up with a method of unbricking the OM+ I'm sure it'd be you. Fortunately I'm not bricked right now.

Thanks man. Well if u would like to test the method I can pm you with the instructions and everything needed. Even though u are not bricked I just want to verify that the method works. It should work even if u are not bricked.

Ok Here's my unbrick.

I think deleting the " /data/gpscfg/gps_env.conf " in the oneclick root exploit (originally from the LG Spectrum Root) is dangerous and the system slowly kicks itself off by replacing the SID with an hex output (5 plc number). I can't seem to get the ZergRush exploit to work fast enough as a bootloader exploit needs to be.
so, I'm saying the current root is not safe, ok? If I'm wrong prove it or just fix it. I tried to fix it by pulling a copy of " gps_env.conf " first, then continue with the root, but I couldn't even get a temp root to do it. So I suck too.

OK Bootloader fix:

get Official LG Updater (install)
get MS695ZV4_11_S4_11_P3027.cab
Get KZ-500-utils-EN.exe

start KZ-500

choose option 11

answer prompts (load .cab file)

The unit call the official firmware back to your device, completely erases EVERYTHING, and gives you a brand new out of the box nightmare. OK?

Be careful, sounds like you are trying to undermine joneidy by saying you have a method easier than his, on his thread.

The method I sent is easier than this (below) and I am sending out joneidy's version that he sent out......

Ok, new news for joneidy, MS695.dll won't register no matter what. On the same PC I could register a VM670.dll, an MS690.dll, but I couldn't register MS695.dll....looks like LG doesn't want LGNPST to work anymore....I also tried with LGNPST 1.3 and still nothing. So the only way to unbrick the phone is KP500-Tool and it works just fine...I did the whole thing on olano420's computer, it works, and his phone is unbricked. So joneidy we will have to abandon LGNPST for this phone unless in LG's next update it contains a working LGNPST compatible DLL...
